Harry, after defeating Voldemort, is in-love with Hermione, who's dating Ron. Rather than cause problems, he decides to simply leave the world he's in. The universe he ends up going to is one where he's either dead or never existed and his mother is alive, I don't remember if his father was alive. He quickly forms a friendship with Hermione and later in that year (7th, if I recall correctly) they become lovers. Some scenes that stand out are Harry demonstrating some orb that displays your magical power in the Great Hall, and a Slytherin Ginny using some potion to induce extreme lust in Hermione in order to break her from Harry.
