    I'm not entirely sure what this site will make of this story. It pokes fun at all the the Stus and Sues that have infested the HP fandom, but at the same time it's a decent story in and of itself. On the other hand, it uses virtually no canon characters, though the Ministry does play a role. The author pulls it off fairly well, though, at least in my opinion. If you're hunting for a laugh, try this. I give it a 4/5; it's missing that epic quality attributed to 5's.

    A word for the wary.

    Hit the link, read the first two lines, and then my eyes drifted to the right... the scrolldown bar was long - far too long. So I hit the author's profile, just to see how long this 'deliberate' monstrosity was going to be.

    79 thousand words.

    Never before has the phrase tl;dr been more apt.

    This thing is ancient. I recall reading it once, but I never finished. I don't know why. I am going to trust past judgment on this and not read it. My standards have only gone up after all.

    Scanned the first chapter and it seemed decent. However, I think that this has been posted before. I recall reading this story from the DLP.Net 1.0v, correct me if I'm wrong.

    It's one thing to read a 3000 word parody. Hell, some of the best shit out there are one-shots that mock everyone and everything.

    But ultimatley, bad cliche is bad - and at somepoint, you're whipping a dead horse. At seventy nine thousand words, you are way, way over that mark.

    I kinda enjoyed it actually. It's serious and magical to be sure, but every so often there's that wierd part, like "routine sporking," that's kinda darkly humorous.
    I'll give it 4/5 for being a damn decent dark parody.

    I think I read this on a DLP archive... Hmmm... Well anyway:

    Excellent stuff. Original takes on the epitomes of cliches should always be praised, and you can't get much more original then Stu's battling Sue's with sporks!

    Great story+wit=5/5.

    I couldn't find this one on the site either; again, if I've overlooked it and it's here somewhere, I apologize.

    This is only nominally Harry Potter, focussing mostly on the Sues and Stus that roll through canon, but it's a rocking good read. It could easily have been a piece of original fiction.
