I figure Escape is finally long enough to warrant entry into the library. If you haven't read it yet, here's your chance to get started (ahem, Sree).

Maybe I'll get featured in enembee's awesome C2 if this gets 5-stars :awesome

This story is awesome, one of easiest 5/5s I've ever given.

Let's just hope there won't be any more year-long gaps between updates, eh? :p

This is how you use creativity.

    No other story like it.

Great fic, although still could be a little longer in my view. But absolutely library worthy. Not even close.

Is this just a rewrite of The Count of Monte Cristo? That is what it feels like and I have not read The Count of Monte Cristo.

While this is written excellently, the fact that it feels a bit on the predicable and pointless side makes it from being the best it can be.

I absolutely love this story. If this isn't library-worthy, then I don't know what is.

How are you not already in the C2? Talk about oversights.

Enembee, you need to get on it and fix that shit right now.

    Ahem.

But I guess I'll move this into the library, being that the community has voted and all. SHEEP THE LOT OF YOU.

I check the forums right before I fall asleep, and this isn't here. I wake up, and this has already gone through the For Review process and the thread's been voted on 40 times... How long was I asleep for again?

Anyways, yadda yadda, this story is good fun all around. Nothing new to add to the rest of the rabble, except the tiny threat that I will murder you if you leave year-long gaps in between chapters again. Well deserving of its spot in the library here and on the C2. Keep up the good work, and keep up the whoring in newbie intro threads! :D

Have you actually read very far into the story? The first chapter (and general inspiration for the story) was based on The Count Of Monte Cristo, yes. But...after the first chapter, I really haven't had too many people say that I'm following the plot of that fine book too closely. And I've actually drawn from quite a few other sources for inspiration.

So if you're worried about rereading Count of Monte Cristo in this...yeah, it's probably not a concern. I certainly didn't do a series of Find/Replaces to change names or something :p

@ KrzaQ and MattSilver_3k: Hopefully there'll be no more year-long gaps :) I definitely have enough plans to finish this relatively quickly, and maybe even a sequel, since there will likely be quite a few loose ends at the predicted end-point.

@Everyone: Thanks for reviewing and rating this so highly, I'm glad so many people like it. And I feel like a champion now that I'm in the C2, so thanks Anme :awesome

Very interesting story, especially now that it is past the Monte Cristo parts. I am looking forward to reading more within the next year. Just out of curiosity, either Sree is kidding or do you have some sort of history with "borrowing" other peoples works?

The story behind that is, once upon a time Sree had an idea that he never wrote, nor told anyone besides...Tinn and nuhuh, or something. A few months later, I wrote this story's first few chapters. Sree, whose idea involved mentor!Grindelwald, now believes that he owns the intellectual property rights to all mentor!Grindelwald stories, and that I am a plaigarizing faggot.

If you look in the early part of the WbA thread, he posts something there like, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW CLOSE YOU CAME TO A BAN!" and I reply with "lolwut?" or something equally witty.

tl;dr - Sree needs to write a better mentor!Grindelwald if he wants to bitch about this story :p

Until then, he's just a whiny bitch...

EDIT: And yes, Sree, that was the sound of a gauntlet being thrown down, if you really want to start another DLP Write-Off :p

Frank, I just picked this up after reading the first chapter after what seems like forever ago. Man...I wish I never would've forgotten about it. Absolutely awesome man. The way Harry goes through his different persona's is just amazing. Easily a 5/5 story.
