It was just posted today (4/3/2007), and so far it is a pretty good story. There sure do seem to be quite a few new HP/Dresden crossovers. There were few grammar mistakes that I could catch, and like many of Shezza's works the story seems to make sense.

Crossover with Dresden Files, eh? I've been waiting for something like that to happen. I read this earlier when it first popped up in my alerts and it's rather good, in my opinion. I like the Fallen Angel, and it's rather fun to compare Harry's way of dealing with her with Harry's complete failure to reject her (Hah, writing that was fun).

Can't blame the kid, though, I'd be willing to take any way out, too.

(I really want Dresden in this, though, I just love his character.)

another excellent story coming from a great author i sorry but i aint heard much about the Dresden Files, the fic look's like it will quite a long story and the start look's great so a 4.8/5 from me.

 

I don't know much about the Dresden Files the this chapter esp the end fucking rocked. I liked that he actually showed Harry's fear and he had a normal (kind of) stream of conciousness for a seven year old. 4.5/5 can't wait for more

I have to admit that I don't know anything beyond the minimal details about the Dresden Files, but I really enjoyed this first chapter which made an awesome impression.

Hopefully we'll get to read more soon...

 

I actually read half the book in a book store before i left. It seems interesting but never really got my attention. You guys know any good sites to watch it online?

 

After reading what is offered in the fic, I simply cannot get into the crossover bit of it. I find that it rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's lack of information or maybe its something else but I just can't get into the fic at all.

 

Interesting. While I can dig a Dark!Harry fic as much as the next person here at DLP I've never been big on the whole Demon!Harry thing. Still, I'm enjoying the fact that it a)has no Snape adopting Harry, b)has no vampires, and c)no Ginny.

Well done! Never heard of the Dresden books until now, interesting to say the least. About to start reading chapter 8, I found the details about the Dresden universe exactly right.
Keep it up and like Xiph0 you still have an epilogue to write for the ROA don’t you?

 

I started reading it, but the whole spiritualism/Christianity thing was a big downer. Kinda ruined the immersion factor and made the story seem like cheap Catholic propaganda (think Constantine). I suppose that's the part that comes from this Dresden Files book or TV series or whatever, so Shezza is not really to blame.

*shrugs* Either way, even though the story is written well, I guess Dresden Files universe is just not my thing.

 

Yeah that kind of irked me too, but the rest of the story is too good to let that bother me.

 

I like the whole demonic side of the story. Dark things always manage to gain my interest. A bonus is that it is written with little spelling and grammar mistakes.

 

I'm familiar with the Dresden Files series and bought a couple books. I couldn't really get into them well. I don't know why.

As far as this fanfic is concerned, I like how it's going-- the pacing, especially.
