Hi. I hope this is the right place to post this. I am looking for a Naruto story where he gets injured when young then runs away from Konoha and goes to become a powerful puppet ninja.

I searched through Fanfiction.net and the DLP Naruto threads. I even did google searches with different key words. Does anyone remember the story? Even the title will do.

I remember Fettucini, or SerpentSannin, had something mentioning puppets in his stories list, and it was a Naruto story. It's all gone now, but if it's any consolation, he wasn't the greatest writer.

It is not puppet master Naruto. I saw that story during my search. In the one I am looking for he goes to grass I think. fashions himself a body and an identity he hides himself under. He even trains Nins older than him but they think he is a jounin because of the Body he uses

 

Yeah, I vaguely remember reading that years ago. How I hate my younger self.:facepalm

No idea what it was called or how to find it.
