Title: Agent Loki: International Man of Mayhem
    Author: Alis Dee
    Status: WIP
    Fandom: Avengers / Marvel Movieverse
Summary: Post-Avengers "What If...?" based on the question: What if, instead of sending the defeated Loki back to Asgard, S.H.I.E.L.D. had kept him instead?
Link: DLP post with the host link here.

I only read first four stories of this series, but I really liked them. Loki is a really great character with all his quirks and how he perceives the humanity. The stories themselves are interesting enough and it seems that they are incorporating some elements of Marvel's Civil War.

One problem that some may have with this fic is its fluffiness (I can't find a word to accurately describe it) in some parts. Like friendship between a certain agent and Loki. Or an ending of the first story. But if you don't mind it then it's really a very fun read.

For now I'd give it 4/5.

Dead link is dead. If you know where to find another copy of the story, please inform the library staff.
Thx. to Glernaj for the info.

YESYESYES. I love this story! Mostly because Loki gets to sort of be a good guy while still maintaining his badass self.

I'd give it a 5/5 myself, though I agree there are certain tender-feelings!moments in the series that I'm sure would turn some people off.

Isn't this story slash leaning or something?
Cause I did look at it, and got the impression that it's going to have things I'm not going to like and left it at half-first-chapter read.

I'll take a another careful look later, we'll see if I'll return screaming or not.

In any case, didn't look anything more than 4, if we leave room for doubt of it's intended purpose.

I was worried about the same thing, especially after looking at other stories from this author, but there is no slash in it. Sebastian is the only gay character in it and he never appears if there isn't a point for him to show up in the story.

Anyway, I fished reading the rest of the series and it gets even better later on. Bag of Cats is rather epic and Dull Creatures has interesting twist (though it did take Loki into angst territory with it, but fortunately only for this one story).

I'm reading through the second part of the series now. I like the Ender's Game reference and I am enjoying the series so far. It isn't the best thing I've read but it's a good read if you are running low on stories.

Hey everyone, the link isn't working anymore, I think the story may have been taken down for some reason. Did anyone store a copy anywhere? I'd really like to reread this, but never got around to downloading it myself... Which really sucks because it was by far one of my favorite stories...

Sure, I've got a copy of this. I've attached a zip containing the epub versions of the series.

It's been a long time since I read/downloaded this, but, if I remember correctly, I think I that this should include everything that makes up the main storyline (13 fics) as well as the complete collection of side stories (6 fics). I'm less certain that all the side stories are included though. I think that I had both series on alert, but, I'm not seeing any update emails in my inbox for this series so I could be wrong about that.

Thanks Zill, this has been down for some time and I've been wanting to re-read it. One of only a handful of decent Avengers stories, unfortunately.

No problem, I'm always happy when my habit of grabbing a copy of everything kind of interesting comes in handy.

Yes, according to what I can see, Epilogue is the first story (at least by how archiveofourown counts it). I didn't have any issues opening it on my phone.

So is this story still dead? Or has it been rehosted on AO3? OIC, someone has a copy of it. Ignore this post.
