Found this story on HPRecycleBin. The description of the file says "formerly on Silverwhisps" but, unfortunately, that's it. I don't even know the author.
This is one of those smut-revolved fics that actually has some plot behind it. I liked the fact that this story is free of most of the cliches (maybe even all of them.) The writing wasn't bad... oh, yeah, and the actual smut IMO was well-written too.

Solid 4/5.

The fic is great, I am 100% positive that I have read this fic some where befor. I think it might of been on ficwad or aff? Any way I cant stand text files so I converted the file to html.

 

The relationship stuff is handled really well. The author does a good job of portraying people who are friendly but still have some tension between them. Too often you see stuff where people swing from lovey dovey to all out fighting back to lovey dovey. The action isn't so hot, but all of the interpersonal stuff is great.

The smut on the other hand is... not so well handled. Harry acts like a typical inexperienced teenage guy--mauling the breasts and lasting about two minutes--but for some reason Tonks (and the author, implicitly) sees him as a sex god. Weird.

 

This seems to be for 2 reasons:

1. Tonks apparently likes it when people treat her badly in bed.

2. Their duels, and Harry's power in general, acts as foreplay, so no actual foreplay is required.

 

High in angst, good smut, nice ending.

I'll give it 4/5, subtracting one for angsty Harry.

Good story, it's more of a afternoon read thing though. For when the top tier of stories are in limbo, waiting to be updated.

It was alright. The smut was somewhat well done, and it is Harry/tonks. I don't think that Harry is Harry without some angst, but there was a bit. I wouldn't read it again, like Virail said, it is something to pass the time. Or to read when you are waiting for one of your bigger stories to have an update.

Took me damn near two days to get the idea to look down the page and find a link that took me to it and I'll be damned if I didn't slap myself silly when I did find the link. Good story, for me anyway but thats becouse I like when hary is angst. You just can't have Harry without it.

 

Ummm, this is rather old. Everyone's out of character. It would do better outside of Harry Potter. At a police academy. Still, well-written and engaging. 3/5

“Mmm hmmm.”

“I don’t really know,” Harry said. “I fell asleep thinking about Luna.” (ex-girlfriend)

Tonks turned and propped herself up on her elbow. “Luna Lovegood? What about her?”

Harry blew out a breath. “She used to be my girlfriend. I was missing her, I guess. She always seemed to know how to make me feel better.”

Yeah right... I don't think this conversation could actually work.

 

I actually do think it might work but then only in case the bloke really wants to be castrated.

 

The conversations were a bit strained at times and the smut was mediocre, not bad but not exactly Oedipus Flower level either. It passes the time, can't say much more about it. 3/5

 

It's an okay fic. As has been said before, the conversions seem a bit strained. The smut also is nothing mind-blowing, but better than most fanboy written tripe that I come across these days.

I'd personally rate it a 3/5.
