Summary: Harry discovers things far more dangerous and cunning than even the traitorous Sirius Black. Written for Perspicacity as part of the Sober Universe Yuletide Fic Exchange
    Link: Wayback Machine

Astonished to discover that this masterpiece isnt in the Library already, particularly given the Perspicacity link. Harry Potter discovers Luna Lovegood has information on Sirius Black somepoint in third year, and begins to work out a plan of action to take out ""Stubby Boardman"".

    Some standout quotes
"Perhaps he was only 13, but he'd already faced Voldemort three times and survived, killed a Basilisk, and caught the Snitch in every Quidditch match he'd played in which Dementors hadn't given his opponents an unfair advantage. Harry was 13, yes, but he was nothing to trifle with"

"Harry and Luna worked for the next several hours developing questions for both Stubby Boardman (most of which were devoted to the Rotfang Conspiracy and the use of dentifrice to control world markets) and Sirius Black (which wasn't really a question, more of an exclamation "Die you traitorous scum!") before breaking to get ready."

    Solid 5/5

It's a good enough story, funny and with good character interactions.
At some points they felt ooc but you can overlook it.

The ending felt rushed though, a light 3.

4/5 for me, the silliness kind of trumped the funny. Not too much, but just a little. The characters are nice, the premise is wonderful, but certain points aren't silly enough, and others are a bit too silly.

But only enough to knock a point off. A solid 4/5.

I'm getting 'Story Not Found' from the link. A google search sent me back to the dead link. I don't even see respitechristopher as a registered writer on ffn. Did the story disappear in the last two months?

That was silly and cute. It had a few laugh-out-loud lines, particularly when Harry listens to all of Stubby Boardman's records looking for clues in his lyrics. There's not much to it, but it did exactly what it intended.

    3.5/5, rounded to 4/5

Jesus, Luna's a real monster in this one. So, it starts off well, and then fizzles out around the midway point. I would barely put this in almost recommended.
    2.5/5, rounded down.
