Hi all.

I'm finding myself wanting to read a fic where Harry's "nobility" is recognised (not just by the narrator as part of an angst fic), for what it really is - his utter lack of self-worth and self-esteem, leading to him not wanting his very existence, leading others to get hurt, to be his fault.

Preferably one (s) where "the non-death eating slytherins (or other houses or OC's)" notice and do something about it/because of it.... in a pinch i'll even take Luna randomly and blunty stating it to him..

In short, a fic where with characters aside from the usual suspects (the DA and Remus included), Harry must overcome himself before he can do anything about the prophecy, death eaters, ministry, or red-headed stalker wenches.

I don't understand what you are asking for, a story where Harry 'overcomes' himself? Canon Harry was never on the 'wristslit' path, that's fanon.

Nonetheless, you want to look at the independent Harry section.

 

Any story fitting this description sounds likely to be a totally angst ridden shit fic, but as mentioned, if you do want to find something similar, check the library/independent section.
