Rip the Epilogue out of the book?

I did that after reading it, and burnt it over the stove for good measure. The book becomes considerably better after this dissection. (Although there might be cohesion issues for the rest of the pages..but frankly, who cares)

 

Deathly Hallows

I was incredibly tempted, but my sisters want to read it after me. I think the whole book reads like a bad fanfiction.
~Remembers Griphook's name *check*
~Harry marries Ginny *check*
~Some of the Weasley's die, but none of the really important ones do *check*
~Snape is actually good *check*
~Dumbledore communicates with Harry from beyond the grave *check*

This is going to ruin all fanfiction forever... But not as much as the

 

I'm also sorely tempted to rip out the epilogue, that wanted me to puke xD, read like some really, really bad fluff.

The one reedeming aspect of the whole 7th book is that Dumbledore was, indeed, was as really as manipulative and evil as some suspected, which could lead to more interest in fanfics with Dumbledore shown in that light.
