Do any fics exist where Dumbledore accepts the Minister position on any of the occasions he's offered it? Just an idea I thought of that I'd like to read.

 

The General by nos tres reges, though it's "on hiatus," whatever that means...

Like all stories by that trio of authors, it has/had an incredible amount of potential.

 

Speaking of "Minister"...and not really wanting to start a new thread, are there any really good stories with Minister Fudge that's an actual competent & smart Minister during Harry's school years? Or a story based on the time as a child, then figuring out where Dumbledore put Harry? I've already read the story of him using the Time Turner, and haven't really read any other story with him being competent.

Here's a nice one-shot with Dumbledore as minister, though it's Harry-centric. Brilliantly written nonetheless.
