    This is a small, simple, easy to play game that will make you shit your pants.

    Pretty much all of the gameplay can be summed up by the the title. That is, you walk down a stairwell. You finish the game when you reach the bottom of the stairwell, which is randomised at game start.

    As you're going down said stairwell the game will do everything in its power to terrify you.

    Enjoy.

    EDIT: Once you've unzipped it, run the game by opening the batch file, not engine.exe.
