I got curious. Are there any Harry Potter fics using the concept of voodoo magic?

I've been looking and reading voodoo mumbo jumbo lately, and I thought it could be an interesting concept to explore as a 'sub-type' of magic in the Harry Potter universe.

    So, anything on the subject?

The only time I recall encountering voodoo was in jbern's To Fight the Coming Darkness, where:

Voldemort hired a Caribbean witch doctor to turn Lily Potter's body into a revenant

I read a fic at some point that had Harry voluntarily get possessed by Baron Samedi.

    Found it: Fugitive Fates

As I recall, the fic was pretty much shit, except for the following part:

This is the guy that the author had in mind. He might not be much of a wizard, but he's got the Inferi thing down pat :)

Edit: I forgot about the part where Harry summons his father's spirit -- straight into a rooster. Obviously, James was a little surprised.

Edit #2: In 'The Awakening Power', Voldemort's special 'Harry-killer' wand had been modified by a Voodoo practitioner, which gave it some useful abilities.

I read a fic on AFF or FicWad a few years ago in which Draco and Blaise turn Hermione into a Voodoo Doll.

Needless to say, I didn't keep tabs on it.

Now that I think about it, having young Harry use Voodoo for revenge against the Dursleys might be interesting. Though a different cause for Voldemort's immortality or something similar would probably make for a better story.

Damn, now I'm getting interested in the subject as well, despite not knowing all that much about it.
