    It seems that the teaching staff have a real problem in regards to communicating with youths and children in general. However, even if they did tell Alex how much measures they put in to protect her, there is still a chance she would think that those measures aren't enough.

    It is amazing how fast Alexandra has developed into such a strong witch, but at a believable pace. If her duelling skills continue to develop, I could actually believe that she can stand up against Bellatrix and co. by the time she is 17.

    If this is the bombshell that one of Inverarity's beta is unhappy with, I can understand why. The story's sudden shift in tone might be a little bit too hard for people to take it. Just when things seems sad and depression, it becomes rather comedic in a rather sudden manner.

    Why did Ms. King think that it was necessary for Claudia to raise Alex? I'm assuming that Thorn cast the same kind of spell that was used by Dumbledore to protect Harry when he was staying with the Dursely.

    Why do I get a feeling that Alexandra doesn't really have a real mother? I got this feeling that Alex's birth is a result of Thorn messing with magic and the stars above.

    I've went back to reread parts the earlier parts of the book and the prequel, and it does seems that Claudia is well aware of her adopted daughter being a witch. More importantly, it does put the way I saw the prequel "Don't Like Peas" in a whole new light. Speaking of which, why the hell is the surname of Claudia Quick? Why did she stop using her own surname?

    While I did enjoy what I've read in this book so far, and enjoyed the first chapter quite a bit, it just seems to be that the quality of writing in the recent does not seems to be as high as the previous books. It just feels a little repetitive at times, although I would think that this is because this fic is written to be read in one go.

    However, a infuriating character to read is relative to the reader. Moreover, trying to say that a certain teenager isn't relatable is weird considering the fact that Alexandra acts like alot of teenagers of her age. Maybe she will mature, maybe she won't, but to me that is what makes me willingly to follow the story despite her large number of flaws. The desire to find out how much she has mature as she grows up. Maybe this forum defination of relatable is to see young characters acting...

    Well, the author never pretend that the person is immature, bitchy and stubborn to begin with. Nor did the Author even pretend that Alexandra is even well like among her peers and the teachers.
