NBC's Community - Thursday, 8 PM ET Description: From Emmy Award-winning directors Joe and Anthony Russo (Arrested Development) comes Community, a smart comedy series about higher education -- and lower expectations. The student body at Greendale Community College is made up of high-school losers, newly divorced housewives, and old people who want to keep their minds active. Within these not-so-hallowed halls, Community focuses on a band of misfits, at the center of which is a fast-talkin' lawyer whose degree has been revoked (Joel McHale), who form a study group and end up learning a lot more about themselves than they do about their course work. Starring: Joel McHale (from The Soup) and Chevy Chase. This show is absolutely hilarious. I just got up to date on all of the episodes (hit up yidio.com) and in eleven twenty-two minute segments there were about twenty straight up gut busting laughs. Joel McHale plays an asshole that's easy to love, John Oliver (from the Daily Show) is in a couple of really funny episodes, Chevy Chase is the funniest he's been in twenty years and there is an entire cast of virtual unknowns that are very, very fucking funny. Including Donald Glover from Derrick Comedy. If you're looking for something worthwhile to watch, I definitely suggest Community. Has anybody else been checking it out? I didn't see another thread for it, so hopefully everything's cool. Cool, cool, cool.
