Read this some time ago and was a bit surprised when I couldn't find it here. I wouldn't call it perfect but I certainly enjoyed the read so far. The author responded to a review from me that he would be updating again soon :)

    Rating 3.5/5

I'd go with AU for this story, it happens for the most part outside cannon universe. After all, cannon says nothing about american magic users. But it's good, I won't object to an update or ten... 4/5 in my book.

Good story but the grammar could do with some work. Was pretty amusing at some points and the action scene was good.

I'd say a 3.5/5 for now 'cause of the spelling, but its too early to give an accurate mark.

Good story so far. As mentioned above there are some grammar problems but not overly much. The mission/fight scene was decently done and entertaining. Of course its only two chapters so far, but a decent two chapters non the less. It will be interesting to see where it goes.
I would have to say...4/5 about, well rounded story so far.

Not bad. The begining seems familiar... like I've read it before... Still the story seem to have a certain surreal quality to it.

If the grammar was better, it would be decent. 3/5

    Fail.

The poor structuring and grammar removes any desire I have to read this.

Not a bad story. Grammar is choppy at times, but still readable. The worst thing about this fic are idiotic half-solutions used to pump Harry up really fast (self-reading books, instant-animagus potion etc...). Since Harry'll be in US for years, there's really no reason for something like this.

Another downside is sort of a cheap aftertaste magic from this fic is leaving; wizards jumping around like frogs and firing curses from machine guns, swords, martial arts etc... Just not my thing I guess.

    Still, it's a decent Indy!Harry story. 3.5/5
    Keep it, I say.

One of the few things that bugged me about this story is the fact that they didn't just use the Navy SEALs as the unit Harry joined. They're at least a real unit.

I have to agree with Shuu. I just cant read this.

And maybe I'm a little glad I cant, because that sounds painful.
