Most definitely the absolute, hands down, single best "veela!Draco picks mortal enemy Harry as lifemate" story I have ever read. *wipes away a happy tear*

 

I just found this gem. It's great and definitely a must read. It's probably the only readable fic of the entire Draco-Veela-mate genre.

 

Where the hell IS Fangella Marie, anyway? She hasn't updated since Jan '07, and I miss her twisted mind.

 

Alright so this one-shot seems to have gotten a warm reception in the past, with many viewing it as the best for the time. So here's having good expectations for it.

Having read it, I thought it was decent. Maybe it's because of the fact this was originally written in 2005 that this story was popular as it was. I haven't really read any Draco!Maleveela stories so I assume it was a bigger thing back then or I'm avoiding slash better then I thought.

However, I do give it points for good grammar, some funny parts, and the fact a slash cliche was taken down an entire peg by this story. So all in all, I'll give it a 3/5. Not really sure if it's Library worthy but it might be.

 

Semi-amusing. It was a very different fic for it's time, and Eppy will always be a classic in my mind. 3.5/5
