There is not enough good Harry/Luna stories. And a well written will be welcomed with two open arms. But you are absolutely right when you say that the writing of Luna is what makes or breaks it.

 

Its between the Founders era fic and the continuation on Euphoria for me, in the end I think I will have to go for option one.

People write "Rorschach's Luna" as a standard now, and it gets very tiresome.

Luna's pretty much a fragile, damaged, and lonely girl -- not a fucking seer or nymphomaniac.

 

I actually wouldn't mind a Harry/Luna fix done well but you should never start off a story based on a pairing unless the relationship is the focus.

 

I would never use the word fragile for Luna. Damaged maybe, lonely definitely. But there is no point where she doesn't stand up strong.
