Tampopo has a lot of weird scenes... My Professor had not actually seen it before, and someone else in the language department recommended it to her, to show to the class.

The scene almost directly following the one you linked, contained nudity(full?) and... some sort of sea creature whisking around in an upended bowl on her stomach being used as a sexual aid. My professor ran to the front of the class, and tried to cover the screen, but it was being shown from a projector, so...:facepalm

Puni-puni Baa-chan was a whimsical part of the film though.

 

Never thought about it before, but Japanese toilets are rather treacherous. Must make potty training much trickier.

 

Am I the only one who was disturbed by the toilet with a face??
