I used the mark all forums read function a few minutes ago, but I've noticed that there are threads inside the subforums that didn't get marked as read, and when new posts are made, the subforum names on the homepage aren't showing bolded/new posts.

 

Seconding this one. I'm seeing the same behavior. It seems like the first hour or so after clicking the mark forums read button suppresses notifications for new posts (or there's some other trigger to fix it that I'm not sure on; I hit the button, realized what I was seeing, browsed around a bit, and then later it started working fine until i clicked the button again).

 

It's more than 12 hours since I used the mark all forums button, and as far as I can tell, the problem persists. Forums on the homepage continue to read as unbold grey and give no indication that there are new posts inside.

 

So experimenting a bit more, this seems to be an issue only on the dark skin, and that's probably the trigger I noted. On the light skin, I can see a bunch of unread post notifications on the forum list, but once I switch to dark everything looks to be read.

 

Can confirm, I switched to LLP, and the problem doesn't seem to be happening there.

Tangent to this, but related: new posts are showing up as bold green threads in all the subforums, but the subforum names on the homepage are showing up as bolded grey, so it's a bit hard to discern. Can those also be made to turn green?
