And then suddenly, Jiraya. In hindsight, kidnapping the student from a sannin might not have been the best idea.

Again, depends. You could kidnap them before they become genin. Jiraiya wouldn't care for some snot nosed brat that isn't even his student. I mean, you'd still have to deal with a team of angry Konoha Shinobi (They really don't like having their citizens kidnapped) but it wouldn't be someone crazy like Jiraiya.

Kushina was sent to Konoha to be the next Jinchuuriki though - they intend to use her, and probably wouldn't take to her being kidnapped very well even if this is before the Kyuubi is sealed within her.

That said, it is questionable whether they would give enough of a fuck to divert forces for that purpose when tensions with Iwa are on the rise. Not sure why Minato would care that much when this is before their relationship.

Eh, I thought it was canon he was crushing on her hard before hand? Or is that fanon? W/e.

Again though, if you kidnap the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi and Minato is there and he already knows the Hiraishin (Which we don't know when he learned it) they'd probably send the guy who can teleport and catch the fuck up easily. Even if you kidnap her before he learns it, if Konoha ever gets wind of her location, they'd probably send Minato again, because he could get in and teleport out.

FTG can be a pretty fucking overpowered ability like that.

And I'm also assuming you guys wouldn't be stupid enough to Kidnap her when Tsunade/Jiraiya/Orochimaru/Sakumo are all in Konoha. This'd probably start off second war era, so if you timed it to where The Sannin are off battling Hanzo, you'd only have to deal with Sakumo and some Jounin. And who knows, maybe Sakumo is off slaughtering Suna-nin at the time? I'd probably have to roll for your luck...

Also figuring out the timeline for Uzu's dstruction is a pain in the ass. One one hand, Nagato is an Uzumaki in Ame during the middle or end of the Second Shinobi World War. On the other hand, Uzushio is stated to have been destroyed during Kushina's lifetime.
But at that point, Uzushio might have still been around when Nagato's parent's were alive because Jiraiya had yet to start teaching Minato, so Minato and Kushina are probably like 10 or 11. And Kushina came to konoha when she was...6 or 5 maybe? Maybe a bit older?

Either way, either Nagato's parents had left Uzushio before it was destroyed, or Kishi fucked up the timeline again.

You are underestimating Konoha's response I think. Your Uzumaki gave them Kushina to become Konoha's Jinchuruki and then they kidnap her, that sounds like something planned from the beginning to steal the Kyubi. From Konoha's point of view, they were played as idiots and betrayed by their allies so they would have to be really pressed for them not to send a response. And then you have one of the big ninja villages (the one that actually had an alliance with you) saying "fuck these guys" for the rest of the foreseeable future.

Second, the whole kidnapping Minato thing was in case he would pursue but if you do so early to avoid the problems that would come from attempting to kidnap Minato then there really isn't much reason to kidnap him at all, is it?

Steal someone else's Jinchuuriki then, or kill the Jinchuuriki and take the bijuu. You're Uzumaki; you invented the Eight Trigrams Sealing style. I hear Taki still has a Jinchuuriki and they're not a major village. Try to pin the blame on someone else as you're abducting him/her then transfer the Bijuu to one of your ninja.

No need to involve Konoha at all.

Really though, I just want the bug bijuu.

Uhh, I don't see how you come to that conclusion. It's pretty damn obvious that isn't the case when you kidnap her while Mito is still alive - to say nothing of a conspiracy somehow surviving the destruction of the Whirlpool Village itself.

Is a kidnapping really required though? Couldn't you just negotiate for getting Kushina back, maybe in exchange for some help with sealing the Kyuubi into a Konoha host when the time comes? While Danzo would never agree to such a thing, for a fallen ally the Sandaime might.

Based on how it was sealed into Rin, I think the Three-Tails is free in the wild at this point? They can always just try to grab that one.

I would probably try to steal bloodlines from Mizu. With them hunting down KG users it probably wouldn't be that difficult to either convince them to join up with you or kidnap them. Haku, Suigetsu, and Kimimaro were all taken right out from under Mizu's nose.

I'd say you should takeover Kirigakure instead. Unite the bloodlines under your direction, bind the Bjuu and then become Mizukage.

I'd really like to see a DA Apostate Quest.
Maybe start a few years before Origin as some city elf running from the templars. You don't know about the Collective, but you've also never been to the Circle, so you really can't do all that much with your connection to the Fade. The goal would be to become a good enough mage to withstand the demons plaguing your dreams, while staying on the move constantly so the templars don't notice you.
After you finally gotten a handle on things (unless the players screw up), the Blight starts.

    Thoughts?

Eh, this'd be mid-end of the second war. Kiri wouldn't be in a civil war yet and would actually be a superpower. You'd have to wait, slowly amassing power and hiding (Because a shit load of people would still be after your heads) and then wait for Obito to Mindrape Yagura into killing off the Kekkai Genkai Clans.

Also, I'll admit, i didn't think of them being able to swap the Kyuubi out of Kushina and into someone else.

Anyway, there's a reason I said starting up your own village would be the Hardcore Mode. You guy's would have maybe 4-5 Jonin Level ninja, probably 6-7 kids and a couple Genin/Chunin level teenagers. I suppose you could set up in a place like Tea Country or something under false names, but you guy's aren't exactly Orochimaru. You'd have to keep out the various spies other villages would inevitably send, try not to step on any of the bigger villages toes who have people who could wipe you the fuck out and all while going through the regular difficulty of setting up a village.

Also, stealing the Shichibi would require finding Taki, which is like, the only really Hidden Village. You and I may know where it is, but the Uzumaki sure don't.

I mean, don't let me discourage you, or anything, just trying to let you know how hard I'd make this.

Is it inside of her yet? Because Mito was still alive when Kushina came to Konoha, and it was soon after that the Village fell. I don't know if we know whether Mito died before or after.

The Sanbi is just out there for the taking though, right?

No idea? I don't think there's any mention of it. I'd assume it'd currently be in a Jinchuuriki though, honestly. The whole Rin Thing didn't happen until the Third War, so maybe it had a previous container, maybe it didn't it.

I think there was such a quest (or perhaps several?) on SB or SV by...mizuki, I think.

A Zuko quest, started whenever, after banishment would be best. But if you wanna go full blown AU then at birth.

    God Quest

You are a deity in an unspecified region of the planet. You have your chosen people and must guide them through the trials of life and death while dealing with plagues, invasions, famines and other deities. You start off fairly weak, but as your number of worshippers grows so do your powers.

Oh my god (pun intended), that sounds amazing.

I'm literally scared of what DLP would do with that quest.
