I've been having a really hard time finding this fic.

The story follows Remus Lupin (no Harry or Hogwarts involved). He accidently turns a little muggle girl into a werewolf, then subsequently steers clear of pretty much anyone as it's illegal to turn someone into a werewolf, let alone a little muggle girl. The story ends with Lupin shooting a silver bullet into the girls chest, killing her lycanthropy and erasing her memory of Lupin and nearly everything to do with him. I'm pretty sure there was also a sequel, but alas, I never read it, so I haven't a clue what it was about.

The story was posted on FictionAlley.org... and it's old as hell.

 

So he shoots her and in doing so cures her without killing her?

Uh-huh, that makes sense.

If it was on FA maybe you should ask around their place.

That doesn't make any sense at all. If it was that easy to cure lycanthropy, why the hell don't people go around shooting werewolves more often?

 

I didn't right the fuckin story, I just read it... but I think there's a time frame or something.
