Current wagon formation IS pretty good.

Also Vaimes why tf you lump tom if he's that high up your readlist

Also also what is with that cobalt read he's barely posted...
    --- Post automerged ---
also also also I read Oracle and failed to comprehend that it lets the Oracle know about the lynch >_>

Cobalt is an easy read for me.

tom is eh, I'm literally withholding Lump from mal because he's already had the panda, which is a dumb reason I know

even if I'm townreading tom, don't think a lot of other people are, and shadow is 100% right that a potentially townfirmed tom would be a lot of fun!
    --- Post automerged ---
for the sake of making sure everyone is on the same page

I'm likening Cobalt's push on Newcomb here to when he went after Irene in his first TinyHunt, i.e. going up against a player who could rip him to shreds if he's scum and they're town

eh wait I literally just realized I failed to consider Cobalt/Newcomb ww but whatever I'm going to let that play out

Oh, so it's the same logic I'm using for lump Jari.

    Alright, that's cool.

I think someone else mentioned Cobalt being town for an attack that was too ballsy for scum!Cobalt, too? Might have been another player...
    --- Post automerged ---
FWIW checked Cobalt's ISO briefly and the last three posts in particular don't read like w/w with Newcomb. I mean the whole ISO doesn't, but those two particularly.

I'm still withholding my readslist but I currently have more scumreads on Delph wagon than jari+dc wagons

Ah shit, time to concede I guess.

Familiar enough, combined with my recent crusade against running over mislynch bait D1 (which lumping Jari would help prevent). Like I probably wouldn't if this game was in a vacuum but I suspect if he's not lumped he'll just get mislynched if town later.

    - Don't think Jan and tom lump campaigns mean much
    - Literally me w/r/t to Jarizok and Newcomb thoughts
    - "Delphine's silver read is a hot take but I don't know silver so I can't concur": could I get another couple of sentences on what this thought was?
    - I actively don't think Cobalt would be particularly afraid to push any player as per our conversation that he views this entire playerlist as competent
    - That being said, the emotional reactions in the post seem genuine. It's bursting with personality and sounds very similar to the last towngame I played with Cobalt
    - Having stong feelings about fonti and Vaimes is vaguely a good look
    - The "turned Gemma onto it as soon as Gemma popped in suits a typical pocket and I'm absolutely not a fan so far" point does nothing for me as Gemma initiated discussing someone fonti was SRing
    - "I feel like this is Fonti reacting to Newcomb being bad and defending her by dragging him for his opener and that they're still potentially w/w. Thoughts?": In the context of copypastas creating a rift in Office Mafia I think it's ~exactly null for partner interaction purposes.

I mean, most of his lower reads actually happen to be on people that aren't campaigning for lump.

Not sure I'm following why you feel more strongly about this than your Mal read.

I mean I'm basically sheeping Newcomb completely on it, yes. Your point being?

Specifically what she said was "There almost a too scummy to be scum element here" which I think is different than calling someone "almost too scummy to be scum" (which would be a leap).

But more importantly, I'm wondering if you could be more specific about what you think is a good look from mal, because most of your actual content about him is more like... why not to scumread him, I guess.

Once offsite with font (mal, dC, and Jan were in that game; Newcomb was obsing).

I've won a couple scumgames on Cobalt's homesite.

Won as SK once, which halfway counts.

    Think that's it.

If it's my initial reaction to the copypasta -- I'm confused why that's not something you reacted to at the time considering that you were online the entire time, and then questioned mal on whether he actually scumread me thereafter. Feel free to walk me through how you've gotten to the read that you have on it.

None, because it's not his read, it's mal's and I'm a total idiot. On a related note, I should now be a shoo-in for lump if I understand how modern democracy works.

That in mind, mal hasn't really provided reasoning yet so it's more a speculative and/or "I have no idea what I'm doing lol" thing. It basically boils down to that plus generic unmemorability (i.e. I know you've posted a bunch but none of it has left an impression, which I'm never really keen on)
    --- Post automerged ---
(There's also a small dose of PoE, which I'm aware is ridiculous at this stage in the game but it's less "the scum must be in here" and more "everywhere else I look to vote I bounce off a townread, so some of my townreads are probably wrong but in the meantime...")

I'll let you know once he's posted more. I'm at a crossroads with him at the moment, and I don't want to tell him exactly what he'd need to do for me to townread him here.

I...didin't register a difference, and I'm not sure I still do after this.

I dunno. It carries a different connotation to me but I can't really explain why.

If you have a few minutes and would like to build a baseline of my playstyle, here:

My judgment: Your lack of Scripture quotes this game indicates that you are scum.

In all seriousness I am 90% confbiasing the shit out of this but the skim of the towngames read as more laid back than your play here has been?

I also found that you didn't seem to care much about the silvercrys stuff after you asked me about it which is NO GOOD VERY BAD TERRIBLE (in all seriousness do you have a read on that slot now?)

Also two cents on nomenclature issue:
    - "almost a too scummy to be scum element" means the "too scummy to be scum" argument almost applies but doesn't quite for some reason
    - "almost too scummy to be scum" specifically means "scummy, also not quite scummy enough to be too scummy to be scum, so just scummy"

The latter reads to me as actually outright calling the target scummy, while the former does not.
