I watched the first season of the Babylon 5 just to read a few good fic since majority of the fandom is stuck at the pre-show stuff. There is bunch of AU Minbari war and more importantly there is the THE story of the fandom that is The Dilgar War.

Majora's Mask on amphetamines. Best read while on amphetamines yourself.

Perhaps the best depictions of 'boss fights' in fanfiction - post TP Link goes off adventuring across the border. Some pretty good Adaptation Expansion style worldbuilding inspired by real world myths and other media, i.e. Joan of Arc, Warcraft trolls.

Modern AU (I know, I know) but actually still okay. Some interesting A/Ns about plotting the story to match the structure of the games, if I remember rightly as well.

Our very own Jon's DxD/Persona crossover - Issei gets a persona instead of a crusty glove. There's some pretty good scenes in here showing the friendship between the protagonist and his MALE friend. A rare treasure in any genre, but especially in a fandom dominated by limp harem antics.

Ryuugi's DanMachi / Percy Jackson crossover. I went in with no knowledge of DanMachi and enjoyed it. Even without knowing the source material for Percy Jackson, I feel like everything you need to know is summed up in "demigod hero son of Poseidon".

There are definitely more out there if you hunt them down - I must have read a hundred Zelda fics I'd rate 3/5 or above, but I hesitate to suggest any more here since I cannot for the life of me remember which are the good ones and which I can simply recall having read in the past.

Remember to leave a review on the library thread if you read any of these. Other Fandoms will rise again.

    Legend of Zelda: Paradise Calling

This is a character story set in Ocarina of Time. The game's plot is more of a side-story and isn't all that present; the focus is on Link and Malon's relationship, and the main external conflict is Ingo's attempt to take over the Lon Lon Ranch. It is about daily struggles and growth rather than an end-of-the world confrontation. It is an engaging and entertaining read, and also complete.

I remember a story in the Zelda fandom where a guy is pulled into Hyrule from our Earth and dubbed Link. It was pretty good but I can't seem to find it in my favorites or alerts anymore? Maybe it was deleted?

EDIT: Nevermind I found it after about 5 minutes of digging on the forum. EvilRiggs had a series called Shadow Dawn. It has 2 finished parts, half of a third, and an outline of how he would've finished it. I remember it being quite a bit of entertaining fun. Here's the link to Part 1.
