Like I said in my review, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The lass writing it has brought herself and the rest of a Bartemius Trilogy forum into the world of My Immortal. Seems to be pretty funny, in a car crash kind of way so i thought I'd pass it along to here. Its basically taking the piss out of My Immortal so its got to be good... Right?

When you say Bartemius Trilogy you mean the trilogy about the young wizard who summons a demon called Bartemius right?

After reading the story I realise that it is infact, the Bartemius Trilogy that I am thinking about.

Nothing special, seems to me that the author is trying to be funny. The only good thing about it is that it's an original idea.

Oh and M1ndless don't you think it's just a bit hypocritical saying that somebody made a bad post while replying with a bad post?

The Bartimaeus Trilogy was absolutely amazing, with the ending of the last book being a slight let down, but still great. However, i really can't see fanfiction being based off that series; its just too tied up a book, no lose ends, and an incredibly complicated world to write about. I'd recommend the books, but any fanfics made off it, i'll stay away from.

 

Surprisingly, for some weird reason I actually liked it. I thought the humour was quite good and it is quite an original idea, I think i've only ever seen one story like it. I might keep an eye on it, though humour fics aren't really my thing.

 

Its not, its just some Bartemius Trilogy fans been slapped into My Immortal for a laugh. Its not even a proper crossover. I only posted it because its taking the piss out of the most pathetic fic ever written.

Read the first chapter. Or skimmed it rather. Definately agree with the latter part of the A/N. - too many inside jokes. If you dont know them, you're lost and it becomes a mess of words that dont really do anything.

 

Hi, I'm a member of Bartiforums, who was mentioned in that fic, and I agree with you, it's is slightly insidey!

But I recommend the books *plug plug*
