I guess it's unnatural but the way wagons form on DLP is kind of..... this. People put their votes in whatever place they think is interesting until one hour to EOD at which point they panic and CFD someone who's barely been wagoned all day. People sheeping each other to test the towniness of whom other people are voting and the strength of the read/mindmeld-y-ness of the wagons.

Somehow, this results in an above average percentage of D1 wolf lynches, even if wolves are the ones starting the CFDs. (Hi, dC.)

What way is it yikes? I agree that some of Jan's posts have been yikes (the Citrus readslist post.... mmmmmmmmmmno.) but can you explain, like, why........ it's yikes to you. It might be a stupid question but I want to know what you're thinking about him/his posts besides "it bad".

By the way, M Plus 7 is probably in the lower half of sort by postcount right now, but that's prooooobably only because of automerge. If you want to read that. There's, like, barely more than 50 posts? It's actually readable. Not 300 posts.

 

My top tier is not full green, mind you.

It's a tier for people who I am reading town based on their posting being villagery enough to not raise any alarms for me so far. It's a tier I will revisit on a later phase but at the moment I'm happy enough with them to trust my gut. That's why I have you and Beru up there with Eido.

If you were to take a look at my other tiers, you'd notice they are people I have had more concerns about:
- I didn't initially like M+7 but they have been trending up for me. I think he is a villager, but it's not a read I'm the most confident about due to my earlier mistrust.
- Jan is the same though quite the opposite. At first I read him as a villager but I find that one post from him I talked about earlier iffy and thus I cannot put him in my gut read tier.
- Newcomb is the only question mark here but his placement in the second tier is due to him knowing I'm better as a wolf on D1 than this.

Third tier:
- I was "hard" scum reading Citrus earlier this phase but as time has progressed my thoughts have changed.
- tsaiah is one of my gut reads but I cannot remember anything she has said anymore so I'm heavily questioning my gut when it comes to her.

None of my town reads are 100% certain. It's just that the highest tier I have right now are all people I haven't had a reason to suspect after my initial read.

 

I can't think about the game without my thoughts trailing off to "I want to squish this rubber duck on my desk" now, so I'm going to go to bed.

You should not be worrying about how others feel about your reads. You should not form your reads based on whether or not it will offend someone.

Reading others, being wrong, tunneling people... It's all part of the game and everyone knows that.

It reads to me as potential wolf trying to cover their bases for later so that the villagers won't come after him for suspecting all four within that group.

It's wishy-washy is what I'm trying to say.


As to the vote stuff you mentioned: eeeeeehhhhhhhhhh maybe. But the progression doesn't make sense. What made fontisian so sure about fenwicked that she was okay with voting them, but not voting me who she claimed to have been going to vote only a moment earlier?

If this is about me seeming to be frustrated or aggressive, it's 100% not the case. I don't get why people always think that way because I'm pretty chill internally when I play mafia, regardless of my affiliation.

I'm afraid most of my thoughts regarding it may have been tinted by my read on how he has been handled me so far, so I haven't paid too much attention to it. From what I gather and remember Regfan is able to produce good-looking posts as scum so I don't want to read into them too much apart from when he talks about me, as that's what I can read relatively well into.

I can't remember exact posts but I remember reading some posts I liked from him last night and earlier today while catching up. Kinda gave me a chill vibe.

I kinda have to say I don't super understand you scumreading anyone who scumreads you because you think they should know that you're a better wolf than this. Like, I can understand thinking that Regfan's push on you is bullshit, but if both Newcomb and Regfan are pushing on you then I feel like it should maybe at least then enter your thoughtsphere that it's possible for them both to be just wrong and town? When it comes to Regfan it's less to do with him knowing I'm a better wolf than this but the fact that he didn't even try to engage me to find out if his suspicion is really warranted. He doesn't appear to be willing to solve me but to find an easy target he can ride, much so when he made it out to look like it was Newcomb's idea when he was the first to cast shade on me.

I'm not sure how you went from "you can't be scumreading Regfan for scumreading you" to actually agreeing with me this quick.

I was just thinking about how I had a personality read on Citrus and how his cheerfulness might be a tiny bit town indicative but then I realized that he was snarky earlier when I garcia'd that question about the boards and now I feel like if he was genuinely cheerful then that snark maybe wouldn't have happened and the more I think about it the more I hate the way he's treated Eido this game and I guess what I'm saying is I don't townread Citrus anymore.
