Just so we're clear, if you make a nation, and then turn around and have the fucking GALL to demand stuff, as in pay me XX or else you ain't getting this trade...

You can kindly go to hell. We're asking for help with this, to help the community out, not to be extorted from.

 

I suppose that is for what I did, heh? I made the nation for you, yes, but am now starting to play for myself. Just because you introduced me to the game, doesn't mean I should sacrifice a good deal of my nation for it.

Now, I know he took it harsher than I meant for it to be, and I don't think I was threatening to immediatly cancel the trade if I didn't get some cash. I was just told by others that I could easily ask for money because his resources weren't the best and mine were very decent, I just did what was suggested to me.

I am not taking it back as well. I can understand how rude it must be if you thought that I did it for the sake of doing it and wasn't even playing, but hell, I am playing for my own interests now. I am still willing to do what is asked of me, as long as it doesn't effect my nation in the worst of ways. There are still plenty of people who signed up, I doubt me wanting to play the game more than just paying bills and collecting taxes affects you that much.

Again, I apologize if my post came out very arrogant and stuck up, I did not mean for it to.

This in no way helps the community out, it helps you out, and I have no problems with that, its why I signed up to begin with. But, like many others, I am a little selfish and would rather help myself out, I hope you understand that.

and please, please, please don't let this turn into another flaming thread. I have been in more than I would have liked this month. If you can't see what I am trying to say, than kindly tell me to fuck off, but please don't insult me and try to bring the crowd against me, I know you could do it if need be.

Also, Darius and I aren't on the best terms since,

It may have been different for you, but ever since Darius told me to get a sharper knife to slash my wrists...I am not his biggest fan.

 

See I worded it as, helping ME out, so more folks would join. I personally have taken 1 trade out of over 20 folks that signed up. Most of which are actually playing the game now, and appreciate being given a heads up. Imagine that, folks like being part of a small alliance where backstabbing isn't an issue, and we grow 60K NS in a month, and thats AFTER a major war where we got sneak attacked.

You tried to extort money/threatened to fuck the nation of one of the leaders of the DLP affiliated alliance from what I was lead to believe, be glad I didn't do worse. Be glad we're friends with the alliance you ran off to as well, as the political ramifications of shitting on someone like you said you didn't mean to do to Darius, in Cn are usually harsh. At his lvl, it's not "just a trade" it easily means the difference in hundreds of thousands of dollars, which then goes to aid the other 40 folks folks. So you'd inadvertantly tell 50% of DLP to blow you with what it appeared you were trying to do.

Sacrificed what? You would of gotten the best trades that you could of gotten and had them be 100% secure, you would of gotten tons of aid, as we're all about to start our aid chain again, etc. Instead, yeah you make the nation, thanks, but then I hear you're trying to cajole one of the bigger aiders to the chain, after joining someone else? Wtf was that all about?

 

I was not impressed with the message, If you had joined CNC, and said, wow, your resources aren't very good, mind if I find some others one, I would have offered you money, or even if you weren't in CNC, I would have should you have mentioned it, your PM wasn't like that, and don't say I just mis-interpreted it, we both know what you meant.

I'd offer, but I don't know what you need. In all honesty I think I've got a pretty good set-up going as is. Nation is Vis Vires if any of you care.

Lets get one thing straight, shall we? I am not in there alliance. In no way am I even associated with any of them except for on the forums. You guys assumed it, and your wrong.

I have never been part of the alliance either, and was part of ONOS before this even happened. So, 'running off' is hardly what I'd call it.

Even I can see that I am clearly in the wrong here, and will apologize. I apologize that I didn't see the wrong in what I did, and I apologize of the grief I apparently caused. But I will not apologize to people who aren't apart of this.

Midknight, I am not in your alliance. If I was in the alliance, I would see major fault in something like that, but am not. The only way Darius and I are connected is through this forum, and like I said, I don't like him very much.

Darius, I do apologize if my post caused major grief. But, let me remind you that I am not in your alliance. I will refrain from asking for any money again, but I will warn you, if a better trade comes along, I will accept.

And yes, I meant what I said, but I hardly meant it to be that harsh. I did not mean, "You give me money right now or I will cancel the trade perminitly." What I meant was, "Your resources aren't the best a man can get, is there any chance I can get some money in response? I may have to look for other resources." Again, I apologize, I even suprised myself when I sent it, I am not usually that much of an asshole unless someone starts it.

I owe no loyalty to anyone on CN except for the alliance that I am currently in. I am not in your alliance, apparently you can't see that.

Now please, if you have no part in this, please go mind your own business. I will gladly respond to Midknight or Darius' posts, but the rest of you need to find something better to do.

 

Thats your position and opinion and that's fine Kai, but here on DLP we always stick together. I'm a bit saddened to see lack of unity, but whatever I guess.

I've been reading this thread for awhile and haven't said anything, but I guess that won't last.

Now, I'm just a casual observer, so I don't know the full context. That being said, from what I've seen here it looks like someone told Kai that he would be well within his rights to request money. Obviously, he wasn't, but he had no way of knowing that. Furthermore, like he said, there was certainly no malicious intent, and he apologized when he realized he was in the wrong. Therefore, unless there's something going on here that I don't know about (in which case, could someone fill me in? ), you all need to chill. All of you, even Kai. I'm not even taking a side in this argument; it's gotten so out of hand it's not even funny.

 

Aye. Darius sent me a reply on CN saying that my apology was accepted, I just hope we can all drop it.

 

I've been putting this off for a while, now (mostly because I know that the answer will be simple and make me look stupid) but I'm going to ask for help.

How do I apply to join CNC? I've looked all over that site, and I couldn't find the answer. I keep turning down Alliances, hoping for yours', but I haven't managed it.
