    It only acknowledges Crash 1, 2 and 3 (and Team Racing I assume). All other games are non-canon (like those awful PS2 games).

    Kinda weird how they changed Aku Aku but the game mechanics seem interesting.

    I was expecting some more interesting updates to the main mechanics other than 'run through tube and jump'. Seems like they even kept the halting midair jump animation.

    But whatever. Old school Crash formula is timeless and fun. As has always been the case though, I'm not going to pay AAA prices for a stylized platformer. I'll be waiting a year or two.

    That's not Aku Aku. There are different masks in this one.

    The plot is that after Crash trapped Cortex on the past at the end of Crash 3, he got out and damaged time itself and opened holes to different universes.

    The new masks are "quantum masks" which give Crash and Coco new powers.

    I love all the Crash PS1 games. I have no idea how many times I have played these games, but when I got the PS4 collection I could still remember how to unlock every single gem on 2 and 3.

    I will gladly buy this and the new Ratchet and Clank on launch day.
