I agree. I'm sorry if that's disrespectful, but Waco, please leave your final reads and/or legacy and then I want us to vote. I'm just pacing around my room unable to focus on anything else. I want the game to be over and I'm praying that happens today.

Have you forgotten that you and Para wifomed yourselves into oblivion in the spec chat game that just ended, where you lost because you cleared wolves essentially because they weren't being townie, and wolfread villagers because they were being villagery? You didn't lose that game because any one of you individually had bad reads, you lost that game because the game meta in which you were playing allowed you to make bad reads and clear wolves for things they should never have been cleared for. The wifom stuff is a sign that you've been playing with bad villagers who are incapable of clearing themselves and being villagery, so you've had to resort to fucked up ways of trying to get into their mindset and clear them. What you're not seeing is that if you townread people for backwards wifom stuff like what you're doing here you're encouraging villagers to play in such a way that rewards them with those type of townreads, rather than just being transparently villagery and doing their best to clear themselves that way, and at the same time you make the game meta wolfsided because you allow wolves to do the same fucked up shit and get townread for it.

If Waco's scum this game it's not because he's been villagery, that's just a sign he's having a good game and are you really going to wolfread someone because "if they're a wolf they're having a good game", if he is a wolf it's because he's not showing he has anything he really believes in. And if Waco's town, what are you doing to do? You'll be in an f3 with 2 players who you've wifomed yourself into thinking are town, and you'll have to somehow try to untangle your logic, or just wifom yourself into oblivion more and bend over backwards until your body is contorted into a pretzel trying to think of which of the two of them played more against their gameplan. And the next problem is that if you're town you have absolutely no way of knowing what their gameplan is, you've just imagined what you think it should be and are judging them based off that. You're introducing so many variables that are based on your own perception of what other people should be doing that whatever read you get on them is going to be full of so many mixed signals there's really no way you'll ever get a reliable read on their alignment and your brain will be too busy hurting with all the gymnastics you're doing for you to ever feel truly good about where you're at with the game.

Well now I feel I'm the one who hit a nerve. I don't even know where to begin to respond to that and I probably won't. Para and I didn't clear wolves via any sort of wifom and I'm not sure why you're saying that. We cleared one wolf for twtbaw reasons which were wrong, and the other two wolves got cleared by the entire game for nothing related to wifom, they were just high-posting, high-effort, and seemed towny.

I didn't say Waco is scum because he's towny, I said if he's scum it means he played a good, towny-seeming game. That's not a clear for me because wolves can play good towny-seeming games, and I clear people for specific mindset things or things I don't think are fakeable, or things I don't think wolves would do, and I don't have any for him. If Waco's a wolf it's because he never believed strongly in anything (besides tom), yes, and because his read on Cuth was "he's different than the previous game" and never evolved past that.

I think you're wrong about how wifom works for reasons I don't want to get into now because I was about to go to sleep. The gist of it is that scum don't want to rely on wifom, they don't want to rely on hoping you will go "well would he really do that" because they know that towns, when not sure what to do, will just default to assuming the blatantly wolfy thing they did means they're a wolf.

Again, the game is won or lost well before f3 ever happens. If you're town here and misvote in f3 and town loses the game, that is just a symptom of everything that came before. The only thing on your shoulders in that scenario is one vote in one dayphase, that just so happens to be the final dayphase of the game.

Hey, Gemma, ease up a bit please?

I don’t really think going at Dels that hard is serving any real purpose rn.

I just really don't want to respond to the rest because I don't want to get into a fight. You completely disagree with the fundamentals of how I play mafia and we can talk post-game if you want because we're not even disagreeing about the actual outcome here.

And yes, if this goes to final 3 tomorrow, I mean what I said earlier that I will make a decision and I'm fine with it. Don't worry about me and don't worry about how I will disentangle my reads. I've had time to think about what I'd do in final 3 and I'm feeling okay about it. I will thank you for your continued message of letting me know that not everything is on me.

Apparently I'm the only person here not stressed out of her mind? I get it's a thing that people tend to feel in endgame, I just don't get it.

Focus on something else, play some game that doesn't mean anything, go feel yourself up, or something.

    Vote: Waco

If you want to hammer after he's had a chance to post, I'm fine with it, in fact it's what I want because I don't want this day to continue. I'm not trying to strongarm it though so if you change your mind or want more time, do what you feel is right.

I hope the game is over when I wake up. Have a good night.

I'm fine now. Cobalt basically saying he was not going to vote me if it gets to final 3 and therefore put me in the decision-maker role stressed me out thinking about the possibility of it. I've had time to calm down though and I know how I want to handle it if it gets there.

You were. About things not even related to this current game, from my point of view. But apology is accepted, don't worry, there's nothing you can do that would make me upset at you.

Okay. Don't worry about it. We're good. You were just expressing your views on how to play the game, I see that now.

    Good night for real.
