Evening folks,

I'm looking for a story that popped back into my head a day or two ago. I honestly can't remember if it's any good or not, but basically Lily is assaulted by DE's (offscreen) and James thinks Harry is actually the child of a Death Eater. Lily and James treat Harry poorly, survive the LV visit, and eventually have a couple more kids.

Lily divorces James, retakes her maiden name, and takes the kids with them.

I remember that in the 4th year Harry is selected for the TWT, and the 2nd task involves some Naga, which ends with Harry getting chucked into Azkaban for a short stint.

Anyone know the fic I'm talking about?

 

That's the thing. It was a multi-year story and I remember the TWT being very exciting, but it was at least a decade ago, if not more, when I read it. It could be great, good for the time, or terrible and my taste is bad.
