    If so, how would this differ?

    No, I have never heard of that before, so I have no idea how they'd differ.

    I'm not looking to join an RPG, I am looking for people to join an RPG I'm on that's not very active at the moment so we can make it so. In simple terms, we're talking collaborative story-telling. A plot is decided upon beforehand by the players, and you play it out in a story-telling format from the perspective of your respective characters only, and you're having a back and forth until you agree the story's told.
