    I have a certain fondness for a lot of the characters, to be honest. Pride of place likely goes to Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore though.

    Albus is my homie. If 1 million people love Albus, I'm one of them. If 10 people love Albus, I'm one of them. If only one loves Albus it's me because I shanked Grindlewald. If nobody loves Albus it's because I tried to shank Gellert and we both died through some magical skulduggery and blood loss.

    Unironically Snape. Hermoine and Harry too, though in my opinion Harry is sometimes best appreciated when he's not the POV - you really see how impressively heroic and enormously altruistic he is, when you're not in his head; when his own personality and the narrative of the story don't combine to make it feel natural that he ought to be going around saving people.
