Some of what I have read is disturbing others just down right hilarious. daphne greengrass may be a minor character with no personality but I can see where some people may have fun giving her personality. On the other hand it doesn't matter.

 

It's not so much as a shitty use of Daphne Greengrass, as the fact that Ron is put on a pedestal with the author blatantly fellating him.

Ron is a jealous, mediocre, traitorous, ginger, thick, ignorant twat. He is not cool, he's not some chess/quidditch strategy god, and he's not anything the author of this fic portrays him as. He's unredeemable and deserves to die a fiery death. Any fic where Harry remains bff with Ron, or where Ron gets the chicks, or any fic where Ron is fellated by the author, is an automatic epic fail.

We need a Ron kill off challenge. Fuck Ginslut, Ron is even worse in my book.

 

Daphne represents hope. Hope, that one character can be fleshed out from the beginning, and not be a complete douchebag like almost all of JK's characters. That's all

 

Harry/Daphne is all right, if done well. But Ron/Daphne is absolutely dreadful, and all stories containing the paring should be taken down immediately, and the Author slapped. I will never read a Ron/Daphne story, and that is a promise.

Well I agree I was mistaken. There are some worthy Ron pairings. One I can think of at the top of my head would be Ron/Aragog.

You can definitely see that Aragog's desire to kill Ron was from unresolved sexual tensions, and Ron's abject fear was from his fear that his relationship with a giant spider would not be understood by the world.

Really, Ron/Aragog was written in the stars.

 

My Imagination has just committed suicide.
