I'm actually getting up towards level ten. Which would you suggest getting first, the sword or the horse?

 

Horse for sure. You can double 3 of your primary stats with about 1k gold invested in leveling your horse after you buy it.

 

Teaos: What level are you at? Probably Lvl 8 to 10 is good. Good weapons pop up at 8 and 10. Welsh Horse is available at Lvl 8.

Hey, is everybody using the 'foe list'? It makes farming a LOT easier. I've been using it since near the beginning. At first I was copypasting names to the search box to hit farms. That sucked.

Click Status -> Diplomacy.

There are two panels, 'friends' and 'foes'. This is where you list usernames. You can only list a total of 20 names between the two. So, 10 friends + 10 foes, or 5 friends + 15 foes, but never 15 friends + 15 foes.

I haven't found a point to the 'friends' list. Delete any names there. They're wasting space in your 'foe' list. Put any farm name (eg. peterdestruction - yes, it's a real farm) in the foe entry box and click 'new foe'.

peterdestruction will now be listed in the foe list along with a 'X' delete button, and an 'A' attack icon. Click 'A' (it costs 2 gold to click it), and you'll automatically fight peterdestruction (or it'll tell you why you can't). The foe list will now change. The 'A' will become a 12hr countdown timer until you can attack peterdestruction again.

eg.
peterdestruction X A <- click Attack
peterdestruction X 11:59:27 <- 'A' becomes countdown timer until you can attack again.

When peterdestruction is all farmed out or moves out of your attack range, just delete him. Remember, you can only keep 20 Foes on the list. Don't let old ones clog up your list. Keep looking for new farms.

It helps to keep a txt file open with quick loot records for your farms so you can see which ones are completely tapped out. If you forget how much gold you got from an attack, click messages -> attack -> single combat.

I'm level 10 btw.

Straight 20 stats and just bought a 4000 dollar horse and will level it up a bit when I plunder tomorrow - will be getting the 4000 dollar sword while I'm still premium as well.

I'd say 5 days to a week before I hit level 15.

 

Ditto on the 4k sword. I don't think I'll touch my stats until I've got enough put away for the sword. I'm up to 1700 cash and about 950 in potions. I'm nearly lvl9, so I should be lvl10 or close to it late tomorrow night... if I'm back home.

I'm driving a 600km round trip to the next town. We might drive straight there and back, but I'll probably lose the whole day. They just so happen to have re-opened their two-screen cinema and boast the only attempt at a night club in about 1000 km. Joy, Civilisation!

edit: I've got the $4k for the sword (4x $900 potions and change) and I'm level 9. I just have to bump up another level. I'm not in a rush though, it's past time to steal more gold and raise my stats. It won't happen today.

I don't use the foe list, because the farms dry up too quickly and I'm to lazy for constantly deleting/adding.
I've got a simple .txt-list with the good farms.

God I'm sick of having to start over with a new list every time I level, powering to 10 with plunders then I'll start attacking again.

Also, what's the best way to build your stats? From what I've read, the best players are misdirecting players to balance their stats evenly, but Strength seems to be the most important one since it feeds into most of the others.

 

Has anyone here ever been attacked? I just find it odd no one has ever hit me.

 

I got hit only once too. Seeing as we're all upping our stats and not levels, it doesn't surprise me much. I don't attack either if the opponents stats are too high.
Wait until you're level 11, though...

I know if I came across someone with my stats while I searching I'd be racing to hit that back button, so I imagine other people would do the same. It's just not profitable to hit someone who's huge; the money you get doesn't cover the healing cost.

 

Probably since we have decent stat builds and didnt waste money on weapons early on people dont consider us good targets to attack.

Once Darius gets to level 15 and forms the Order Individuals will be to afraid to attack but we may become a target for more established Orders.
