Although to be fair, it's moved FAR from fanfiction and towards original fiction. She said that the Voldemort subplot will be finished soon (I think next chapter will finish him off.) Then I expect it'll count as completely AU, just using some of JKR's names.
I love it. Love it, love it, love it. I already rated it a long time ago, or I'd rate it a 4+ now. The only reason it isn't a five is the super-powered Room of Requirement. And THAT was so long ago that I just don't care about it.
Strong, intelligent, highly powerful Harry, without all the sappy romance bits. Flairgold has stated flatly that there will not be any single pairing: Rahkesh does one-night-stands, and NEVER with anyone associated with Akren or Hogwarts.

And if anyone else bitches about bisexual vampires, I'll just sneer at them. If you are looking at quite possibly millennia of life, then why stick to laws promulgated by religions that would kill you on sight? I read some Highlander fanfic a long time ago, and the author (probably a guy, now that I think about it,) went on a long essay (in the middle of the story, no less) about how neither Methos nor MacLeod would EVER commit ANY act that would in any way be considered non-heterosexual. I suspect he believes Immortals don't even masturbate unless a woman is helping.
*I* figure that anyone who is more than twice as old as my religion doesn't HAVE to adhere to the mores of the rest of us.
If at 5000 years old, you haven't done it EVERY WAY THERE IS, then God is probably ashamed of you for throwing away so many opportunities.

I would have to agree. My only comment I would like to add is that the whole time travel to the Chachapoyaro is really long winded (it spans seven chapters).

Um. Most guys aren't bisexual - and it's not because of religion. It's because we find the idea of another guys feces smeared on our dick extremely nauseating.

I don't understand where you get off telling us guys that we aren't bisexual because of religion.

I could never understand why anyone would want to do that. As long as this story doesn't go into detail and Harry/Rakeash doesn't get raped or decide to "swing" that way its fine by me.

I don't think this is the greatest piece of fanfiction ever. Mainly because it's now reached the point where it is barely fanfiction, but I'd still rate it 4/5 and lobby for it to be included in the library.

Indeed she could easily take this fic down and publish it after removing reference of harry potter from it, it so different from JKR's potter universe it might as well be in a universe of it's own.

oh and this get's a 5/5 from me.

It is strange however, that in ancient greece it was quite common for men to have male lovers.

I mean, I have no ounce of religion in me, but still wouldn't want to touch anothers male ass in this lifetime or the next.

I started reading this awhile ago, and frankly... got bored. Haven't voted, and probably never will.

Well considering it took a massive rep down effort by people to get it down that makes sense.

Also I'm assuming mods can view who rates the threads and what so I'm sure you'll find a lot of people that rated it 1 without reviewing it.

This is pushing it. Far. Very far.

The writing isn't even that good. Fuck the writing isn't even that good for fanfiction.

The writting is excellent in latter chapters?

Have you read past the first 10 chapters? No? Then STFU.

In latter chapter there is almost no grammar or spelling issues. Her discriptions are good with out going over board like a lot of people do. She mixes good action with good dialog. Original ideas and a dynamic plot line.

I actually got pretty damn far, around 21ish I believe (what can I say, I was bored). And while the writing does improve, I'd never consider it good outside of the fanfiction world, and barely even inside it.

How'd this end up in recycling with a four star rating? Has it been ruled as a non-HP fic?

The voting appears to be split, with strident voices on both sides of the issue. I think the mods are having a "last man standing" flame war over library vs. bin.

Sree is just upset he lost and wont move it back to where it belongs. Dispite the fact that it is now over the thresh hold be a comfortable margin and wont likely drop down again anytime soon.

Thread in the Recycle Bin? Check.

People bitching and moaning about story being in the Recycle Bin? Check.

From where I stand, looks like I won. :)

Also, you have atrocious spelling and grammar. Take the time to proofread two sentences, you might actually sound intelligent. Although, seeing you defend this story, whatever ideas I had about your intelligence were pretty much degraded to nothing.

Since you judge peoples intelligence based on their choice of fanfiction I don't really think you should be talking.

I did read the story back in the day, about a couple of years ago. Not very far, I think (I stopped somewhere after they came back from the time-travel). I usually don't rate fics unless it's a 4.5/5, because frankly I feel that I'm not judging the stories with the readerbase in mind. I mean, right now I would have to rate it a honest 3.75 in 5 from what I remember, but that would certainly drop once I try to re-read this. So I just won't rate.

This story happens to be one of the biggest and most popular Badass!Harry fics. People who don't bother checking out relatively obscure ones read this and try to find more in the same vein after they find out that they actually like this shit. I'd wager that some DLP members will cite this fic as the one that started them into the road of dark fanfiction. In terms of influence, I feel this fic should stay in the Library. Add to that the fact that it's not completely utter shit, and better than some (might even be a big part) that are currently in the Library.

I think we'd all agree that nobody is being objective here. I don't love this story. I don't even like the story that much. But I feel that this should stay in the Library. Fics worse that this are, and more than that, people are starting a shitstorm over this. It's not that serious a business.

Also: all the available lulzium has been extracted ITT.

    Think of it this way:

Rating of 4.0 and up = Library
Rating of 3.0 and down = Recycle Bin or deleted
Rating of 3.0-4.0 = Mods' prerogative (considering we don't give two flying fucks if you find a half dozen people to help you push that 3.41 into a 3.58 only to make it to the library and thus incite a half dozen others to bitch about it not deserving the library and eventually push it back down to a 3.46)

So find a Mod or Admin to move it who agrees with you and they will. Personally, I think a rating going up while the last few chapters have been pretty bland and barely crawling the plot forward is a sign of whiny forum bitches more than a sign of a fic that's getting better.

For what it's worth, I think there's a bunch of us who are enjoying this thread much more than the fic. Kind of like taking a lollipop from a baby, giving it back to see him smile before taking it away again.

This fic is great and you're stupid! This fic is awful and you're a retard! Die! Die! Die die!

I'm amused and think riding the line between the library and trash is right on. If Miranda actually finishes this storyline, I'll vote on the library side, but for now... you whiny bitches may continue to amuse me. Carry on.

LOL that's fucked up. But I still lol'd. I subscribed to this thread for that very reason. IN a way, Miranda Flairgold has allowed me to enjoy her fic, in a roundabout way.

Yeah, the story sure as hell doesn't cut it for me. The thread on the other hand, is amusing in the extreme.
