Actually, those Gruffs - pretty badass, and Big Brother Gruff was pretty damn good too - slicing guys in half with ease and delivering fresh donuts? That's a powerful vote-getter.

But although I do like Dresden probably the best as a character, I can't help but admire the impressive skillz of Ivy and the impressive ass of Lara. Not to mention that I'm still a bit mad at Harry for the "Molly towel" scene - you know the one I mean. Just hard to forgive a guy for that.

Eldest Gruff is one bad son of a bitch.

I gotta say Dresden, Ramirez, old not so saint nick, and Michael.

Dresden is Dresden, he is how Harry Potter should have been. More than willing to kick some ass if need be.

    Ramirez is absolutely hilarious.

Nicodemous is like the ultimate villian. He doesnt think about effects of his actions now. He plans years, decades, and even centuries in advance. He knows that 9 times out of 10 no one will get the better of him. He knows his limits, and after 2000 years of walking around knows how to judge people.

Michael I like because of the simple fact that he is not willing to abandon his convictions. He believes in God to the point where his faith is the deciding factor in every decision and is willing to live with the consequences.

I just finished the first book, and my favorite characters are Bob, Dresden, Marcone and Mac in no particular order.

I still think Mac is going to kick some ass someday. I'm guessing he's pretty powerful.

Marcone needs to die. DIE. The only cool part of Marcone is Gard. And Gard only REALLY gets epic if you read Heorot.

Book Bob > TV Bob. Faggot English GHOST. >_>

    Also; Mac is epic.

I guess I'm the one of the few who's favorite character is Carlos Ramirez. I thought that guy was hilarious and his magic was pretty cool. The way he redistributed the momentum with water was pretty badass. And the fact that he tries to be all macho and he's still a virgin reminded me of this kid I know. Wish he would be mentioned more often.

I just grabbed season one of DF, and I have to agree. TV Bob is fucking annoying as all hell.

I like Ramirez. Dude is kinda cool, actually. Pretty amusing character. Of course, the scene in White Night with Dresden and Lara was fucking lulz.

Short, cute, blonde woman - what's not to like? But still, her personality is just annoying. Everyone's said it already but she really does have a stick up her ass for 'protecting the people of Chicago'.

I loved Murphy all the way until the last book with her protecting the people of Chicago bullshit and how she took the 'oath seriously.'

So, in denial, I have convinced myself that she used that piss ass excuse for the sole reason of getting into the battle since they wouldn't have let her join without a little bit of threatening.

I'm in denial... and I am loving it.

Dresden, Michael, and Ivy are my favorites right about now.

Dresden, being the sarcastic son of a bitch that he is, makes me laugh more than anyone else. His sense of chivalry is annoying when it fucks up his plans in the book, but I am the same way so I find it good of him most of the time.

Michael is just plain old kick-ass with that sword of his and his 'good-guy' thing going on.

Ivy was epic in Small Favors. Not only does she beast at magic, but just the fact that she is a little girl who has to endure thousands of years of memories and only has two friends calls to the older brother in me.

I just saw someone had mentioned Bob, so I had to say that he was funny in the first few books, but his novelty has worn off. His obsession with smuty romances isn't funny anymore, nor are most of his jokes. Leave Harry to the jokes.

    Sol you moron.

There's a difference between thinking with your dick and being stupidly 'chivalrous' to the point of taking it easy on enemies that are women and behaving irrationally if they are in danger.

I think the only reason you ranted was so you could be controversial.

I like Bob, a lot. (Book Bob)

I like Thomas and Harry as well.

    Like Susan.

Hate hate hate Murphy with the power of 1000 suns.

Hmm, I don't like Susan myself. She had almost no means to protect herself, but was still wanting to be involved in the action that was Harry's life, she was lucky that what happened to her was all that happened.

Atleast Murphy has much much more experience in battle before trying to take on supernatural enemies, and we hardly see her in great perril because of her own doing.

One little mission and Susan is taken as a hostage, helpless and in need of Harry to risk his life saving her because she just 'had' to come along.

And how would that go down when one of your best friends finds out you fucked his not even legal daughter? Somebody might just get smited old school, not to mention what Charity would do to him.

Internet bravado aside thats just not something you do in real life if you want to keep yourself in a relatively healthy state of living. Add to that, that he is her teacher and must command her respect for her to even listen to him or they both get the sword fucking her would not have been the best idea in the world.

I like Murphy, but feel a bit sorry for her, its obvious she is so willing to do her job because she has sacrificed a great deal of time, effort, and emotions into it and is not willing to let it go that easily.

I liked Lash and am a bit sorry to see her go, but on the other hand I like it when Harry does badass things on his own and not with the help from a fallen angel's shadow that, up untill the end, had been trying to drag his soul into hell.

Well, just finished Reading Small Favor. My favorite characters are Dresden, Michael, and Laciel.

Dresden is never boring to read. Even when things get a little dull he will say something that gets a chuckle out of me. Not only that, but he kicks major ass. He is only going to get more powerful as the books go on.

I am not a fan of religion, but I like Michael's character. I like that his faith makes him powerful and his ability to produce a hot daughter. The Knights of the Cross is one of the more interesting things about the Dresdenverse imo.

Wished she would have stuck around longer. I think we are going to see more of Lash. Maybe she will be redeemed and become a good little angel.

Now, there is only one person I hate in the story and this came after reading Small Favor and that's Murphy. I didn't mind her through all the other books, even when he went to Hawaii with Kincaid.

This is nothing that hasn't been said before. It was getting really annoying reading Murphy constantly rambling on with things like "No one gets away with that in my city" or "I take my oath to protect the people of my city seriously" or her threatening to bring the cops/SWAT in if she didn't get her way and come along on the missions. It was really immature imo opinion for her to threaten Harry with things like that to get what she wanted.

Oh, and I have a mild dislike for Susan because she is the reason Harry refused pussy multiple times for half a decade.

Meh, Murphy is annoying but I just can't bring myself to hate her too much, sure she's a fucking annoying idiot but so is Harry Potter in HBP. I just finished Blood rights today so if she does anything significantly annoying then I'll change my opinion.

    I always find Bob amusing.

The obvious favorite character is Dresden himself, purely because he's fucking epic.

Apart from him though, I suppose Michael would be my favorite character so far.
