    FFS, stop this nonsense. H/D won't happen cos they fucking hate each other. Whereas Hermione is thorough about everything.

    Everything.

    Even if it didn't lead to any long-term arrangement, Hermione/Padma is infinitely more believable than Harry/Draco. H/D is, by definition, gayfail.

    Back on topic, perhaps the veela charm grows throughout puberty? With them ending as full veela in there 20s, this would explain why the older veela had more of an effect and why guys aren't lusting after Gabrielle.

    Alternatively consider the possibility that Veela ("full-Veela") are immortal. Then they do not really need to reproduce, and we can open up a plethora of interesting ways for them to have come into existence. This allows for the "quarter" or "half" Veela offspring to exist.

    Also, Hermione is a total Lesbian. Only a lesbian would care about something as stupid as house-elf rights.

    H/D sucks. We all know it. Banner, except it. I am a person who would totally read slash, if it was not all just awful. I quite reading it when I was 14. Harry/Cedric would be a decent pairing, which is why there is no fic about it. Slash is all crap, and not even the sex is sexy.

    Lastly, even Veela are immortal and pop out half-breeds with the occasional wizard, do you think Dementors might be capable of the same thing? I'd rather like to see a fic with a part-Dementor.
