    I can understand their motivation; if I had been in the audience and seen the contestant struggling with a question with a question like I would probably be tempted to give him the wrong answer and knock him out of the game for such a severe case of stupidity.

    Outside the US and CND, the audience is told to purposely give the wrong answer so the insurance company doesn't have to pay up.

    Regis and the US version were sued cause the question were 'too easy' a couple years ago.

    If you seriously believe that's representative of french population then you are even more stupid that this guy.
