I debated about posting this story as it is quite angsty at times, but I have enjoyed it thus far. The story basically focuses around the relationship between Harry and Cho with some mention of slash though I have yet to see the slash actually written out. Hagrid's bed is both highly disturbing and funny. I always wondered why Hagrid seemed to be a rather happy bloke and now I know. Overall, I found the story to be very good, and it is a rather long piece of smut. Right now, I would go with a rating of 4/5 assuming the author raps up the current drama nicely if not then my rating will have to be revised.

Does it get better after Chapter 1? His bitching is annoying.

 

I warned you about the angst....it is quite annoying, but it leaves for awhile to turn into violence only for him to get all angsty again. The thing that makes me not mind the angst is the fact that Harry is very insane. His mood changes rapidly from being angsty to murderous and everything in between at some point in the story. I enjoy the lack of never quite knowing what he is going to be like from sentence to sentence, but that may just be something that I like and no one else really cares about. Cho eventually becomes just as crazy and fucked up as him. One moment she is in love with him the next she just wants to cause him pain. The insanity keeps me from disliking the angst.

 

Yeah I went ahead and simmed through the initial angst. In Ch 2 he should've shoved the chair leg in her. That would've been epic in its' own right.

 

Ron laying down on Hagrid's bed is about as epic of an own as you will get in this story, and it only gets mentioned even if it is by a disturbed and violated Ron. The newest chapters are a bit annoying and I hope the current angst ends quickly because even with insane characters it is getting on my last nerve even if the author is quite accurate in the characterization of insane people.

 

Anything on adult FF.net is usually epic fail and while this has some vaguely funny parts it smacks of fluffy bitching. The grammar and sentence structure was fairly non-existent while the conversations between characters is retarded and wouldn't be out of place in Cy's 'A vision to lead'.

If i was interested in reading large amounts of smut then it finish reading this but at the moment we got a 'no deal Andrew.'

2/5 with no chance of going higher.

The story deserves at least a 3 out of 5 just for that line. It's not hilariously funny but it's a good find considering how difficult is is nowadays to find amusing fanfiction.

It's better than a lot of crap, but it's still a lot of crap.

 

I've read a lot of this before it being posted here and thought it got quite annoying. Cho POV for one, thats a down side. The smut seems to be the same over and over. A lot of Angst. Its just got too many negative points against its positive points, of which I can't think of any.

 

Reading this, I started to think that I was reading the same chapter over and over again. Also the crybaby!Angst!Harry annoys me.

 

Having read further, the story becomes more serious and loses its sense of humor after the first dozen chapters or so. More scenes done in InsaneViolentRapist!Harry's p.o.v would've been nice because Cho's Stockholm Syndrome-ish angst gets old fast.
It does have its moments though, a decent enough read between waiting for other stories to update.

 

Meh...decent in places but overall it failed to hook me. 2.5/5

 

These last few chapters have annoyed me greatly. The author is going nowhere fast, and I'm getting tired of all of this will they get along crap. 2.5/5 for random bouts of humor and decent characterization.

 

Worthless smut ... don't get me wrong, that can be good but it is not suitable for here. By our guidelines a 1/5.

 

It started with a bit of promise and has turned into an uber-angst ridden failure. Which makes it worse is that any redeemable qualities that Cho or Harry might have had at the beginning have been removed. not to mention including Cormac and Terry the fairy.

The smut is fine, if unimaginative after the initial couple chapters. It would have been much better if after Harry initially entered the Ravenclaw dorm he turned Cho into a madam and pimped out the girls. That could be win.
