What this story lacks on execution it makes up for in ideas and the constant updates. It's an enjoyable read as long as you aren't too anal about it.

 

After all these years I still can't get past chapter seven. Naruto hardly having a personality doesn't help either. The authour does pump out chapters like mad though.

 

Well, a major part of the story is a focus on how Naruto gains more humanity as he encounters things outside of missions and pure stated directives, so part of that is neccessary.

 

I got to ANBU!Naruto in a fox mask, snickered and hit the back button.

So I lasted a whole two sentences. I think that might be a record.

 

Well yes characters, Naruto and Hinata in particular, are OOC but author has also explained why. And while ANBU fox mask is seen often enough in fanfics, it still is a rather small thing.

Those shortcomings aside, this fic is entertaining. It has many good action scenes, interesting plot and not too many OCs to annoy it's readers. It also helps that Naruto/Temari is one of my favourite pairings and that for once Naruto doesn't have to take shit in every turn, but can really kick some ass instead. Not to mention epic lenght.

Definitely 4/5 material, best Naruto fic since Never Cut Twice.

 

I never really liked this one, mainly because of how cliche the idea was.

 

I think this was the one where Naruto had 5 tails of the Kyuubi and some bitch had 4. Mighta been a different LD story but he manages to fuck most of his stories up.

I almost forgot about this part of the story entirely since I never read up to the conflict between Naruto and his sister, but the whole thing seemed very contrived and otherwise shitty.

Also didn't like the Raikage's character at all - mostly because he was a mix of Sarutobi and Kabuto taken to the extreme.

Library Ninja Raikage doesn't really strike fear into my heart.

Canon Raikage, on the other hand, makes me chuckle.

 

On the topic of the Raikage...

If I still had Photoshop installed I'd place the Raikage and Sasuke's heads in this image respectively.

 

Say what you want. This story, while is not the most original, it is a good way to pass the time, and is better than most of the shit out there.

Not really...After a while you get bored and wonder why you even bothered to get as far as you did.

 

I managed to bullshit myself up to the chapter where Naruto mauls Gaara using the bandwagon mentality.

The humanization process, the motif of the story and plot-wise probably the most important aspect, is unoriginal and was a tremendous letdown. Naruto, the killing machine, sees someone extend mercy to another, which overloads his circuits. The reader comes that far along, and you write something like that?

I managed to read that far, but no further.

The guy is riding on the popularity he won from his other stories, but the strange thing is I thought his other stories were even worse than this one. Really,
