Video Games, Books, Movies was a giant clusterfuck where it was impossible to find anything. Mature Discussion was the old S&P before I renamed it, it died today. It got redundant. Politics was split off awhile ago, and then S&P were brought back, so it was time to die.

Try to keep things where they belong guys. The amount of Naruto crap alone I had to move was insane.

 

How the noble art of tabletop gaming gets lumped in with crappy little flash games and pointless spamathons is beyond me, and books and anime sharing a subforum is a tad weird. Apart from that, the distinction between General/Real Life/Mature had been hella screwy at times, so a change is probably for the best.

 

I especially like Real Life discussion being next to GD again. Having politics in between just looked wrong, lol.

Good job on all of the moving though. Must have been a fair amount of work.

 

Books->comic books->anime

I tried to separate them, and there wasn't enough to justify anime having it's own area. I was going to put Anime in TV shows, but then there's tons of threads about the comics and the shows right next to each other, so it was easier to do it that way.

TableTop will probably get moved into Video gaming, I don't like it where it's at, but let's be honest, 3 or 4 threads, doesn't really matter where it is. Really Politics should be moved back under RL discussion, but I'm trying to get even more traffic into it, I may move it later on in the year.

 

Too many sub-forums and not enough posts in my opinion.

Still slightly confusing for me, I'm still getting to grips with the multimedia section being where it is (keep forgetting where things are), though this must have been a lot of work, good job!

 

Good job putting in all that work. Though I was a bit confused as too where everything had gone before I read this post. Hopefully this will work out well and people will actually post where they should... maybe. If I might make a suggestion, maybe you should copy this thread into the announcements as well since it is a broad change to the whole site.
