It's books like these that make me realize that the world has gone to hell and I haven't even realized it.

I recall a book that was written entirely in netspeak. And people like it. "Insight in the teen world" No... more like "Insight in to a retard's world"

The thing that shocks, disturbs, infuriates, and disappoints me is that this manure has actually gotten a fucking ton of reviews. Hell, I'd be happy with a hundredth of the 1.5k reviews that I saw there. And worst of all, there's going to be a fucking sequel to this poorly-written, slashy urethral discharge!

My review went somewhat like this:

I haven't yet gotten a response, but right now I think I was too kind. Depending how inflammatory her response is, I might just go flame the sequel.

This is going to be embarassing, but I just spent 10 days in Barcelona with three guys, one of whom was reading a book whose title translates to "until the dawn". I checked out the back cover and realised that he was reading Twilight

I was like wtf ... he read that shit twice at least, rather than watching Scrubs with us during down times ... rest assured, I lost all respect for him.

Does anyone else feel immensly sorry for Robert Pattinson? Where before he was known only for a part role on a movie based upon the last good book of the Harry Potter series, now he will forever be known as That-actor who brought the love child of Fail and Nasty - Twilight - into the world.

Fucker's guaranteed a lifetime of virgin punani.

I don't feel that sorry for him. If anything, I hope his cock falls off for the good of everyone.

And yeah, Twilight. That's like a George W. Bush third term.

Well, the stupid bint actually took the time to reply to my review, and her response... well, I just consider the source:

*laughs at you* It's called imagination and creativity. It's also called
alternate universe and 1 vrs 1500 isn't going to make me take off any story.
Sorry dear =) I am confident enough in my stories to know how well I write and
I really don't need some straight lace homophobic to tell me what I can and
can't write because it doesn't follow a story line. It's called NON CANON, AU,
not canon. Writing would suck and be so fucking boring if I were to write
such. I only read your first two sentences of your review so you wasted your
lovely time when you could be reading a lovely Harry/Ginny or Bella/Edward =)
Sorry you wasted your time. Bubyes!

There's so much wrong with this girl. She thinks I'd prefer to read H/G or anything from Twilight at ALL? And the fact she likes to throw around terms like homophobe just gets on my nerves, or that she considers herself a superior writer simply because she gets reviews. Shit, I've seen plenty of bad stories get tons of reviews like hers.

Any other loyal DLPers want to join this crusade?

EDIT: hell, if we can bring in the heavy-hitters (like Vash) to give some good, common-sense criticism (and maybe a flash of reality), we might be able to beat some decent writing into this clueless tart.

I do feel sorry for him, mostly because if you see him in interviews, you can see how fucking terrified of the fangirls he is, and how much he wants to be fired.

I am going to be a dick and add the freak that wrote Emerald Twilight to my ignore list, so I can have the last word and not have to risk more brain cells reading her response. I have no hope of her seeing any reason.

Unless something lulzy happens like she registers on DLP to defend the fic.

I actually managed to write a response to her little comment: I held back on the flames (but then again, rationality only goes so far with her type), but gave her a detailed response:

I'm looking forward to her response. Hopefully she might grow a brain stem. Although, if you really want to flame a bad fic, here is the one for you.

EDIT: well, she got a reply off awfully fast:

This comment proves that she didn't bother to read my criticism at all, and she doesn't give a rat's arse about good arguments. Disappointing, but it doesn't really matter. I'll leave the rest to Andromalius and the others - this clueless bitch isn't worth my time.

    You conducted yourself well.

At least we know she wasted more time writing that misshapen slop than we did pointing it out to her.

He also hates the character he portrays. I don't remember where I saw the article (I think it might have been Kotaku), but he said in an article that Edward has no depth to him, which would make it impossible to portray him on the big screen.

First angelofdreams13 I'm really not trying to rip on you but saying because you have gay friends that means your not a homophobe is just weak, however Andromalius is right you handled yourself very well I would have been a hell of a lot less nice. Next her dream is to see a young teenage wizard get his asshole stretched by centuries old virgin vampire, where would you get the idea that she was capable of change when 99.9% of the rest of them don't? It's nice of you to try but it's not going to happen, ever.

Last I watched a lot of the interviews they did with Robert Pattinson and I don't really feel all that bad for him. Sure he's a cool guy and honestly much more awesome than I would have ever thought someone who played in anything involving Twilight could be but he's all but admitted that the only reason he's doing these movies is because he's getting payed a shit ton of money and he's getting layed left and right. Do I feel a little pity for him for having to put up with those lunatics for fuck knows how many years of his life now? Sure but do I feel bad for a guy whos making millions and millions of dollars and getting more pussy than most guys his age can ever even dream about seeing? No not even remotely.

I was forced to go watch the movie with my GF. Well, I didn't know anything about it beforehand, so I did not really have anything against the movie at the start. When we went to the theatre and the place was full of 10-13 years old girls, I cringed, and prepared for the worst.

The movie was terrible waste of time. I laughed at some things, like the idiotic sparkling, but in the end, only thing good in the movie was the song by Paramore, Decode, or what was it.

Luckily my GF didn't like the movie too much either, so I didn't have to listen to her drooling over the main character, Edward Cullen...

I shall join this crusade, but I think you might want to get Oz into the action.

Oh gods, here comes the 'DLP IS LEEJUN' thing again.

Look, I'll explain this for you. Twilight fanfiction is a fangirl quarantine zone. Even when it's crossed over with other fandoms, you can see the word 'Twilight' and know to stay the fuck away. While they're roped off in that section, they're not shitting up other fandoms full-time, like they have been so far. So leave them the hell alone to form their fanfic praise daisy-chains instead of deliberately exposing yourself to it and then feigning outrage.

What do you see the best-case scenario resulting in with this crusade, anyway? Decent Twilight crossover fanfiction? I'd laugh if it wasn't so mind-numbingly retarded.

Together, we can make this world a better place! Yes, with the power of fanfic reviews, harsh criticism, earth and heart, we shall vanquish the foe!

    Oh, wait, no.

That film was... ouch, how can someone find that "amazing"?

That girl had mary-sue written all over her: giving "great" advices to everyone and being immune to vampire mojjo.

If the Books are anything like the movie, then there will be hundred of pages before something really happen.

At least there was a vampire chick who could see the future and broke some guy's neck, that was cool...
