    Title: Humanity Lost
    Author: Mehetabelo
    Rating: T
    Genre: Drama/Romance
    Pairing:H/Hr
    Status: WIP
Summary: When Harry is on the verge of death and given a choice to continue on as something evil, what will he choose? What exactly will he become? Featuring •Vampire!Harry• [WiP]
    Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1639517/1/

This is a good story so far, and the h/hr is fine because she is very un hr like. it says its a romance but it looks like he is dark enough for it to go here. hope this isnt on the site yet.

The story is practically abandoned (Over a year since the last update)

    Its okay, but VERY short.

Maybe 10,000 words. It has none of the closure and completeness of a one-shot though. Eh.

Er. I had actually thought to continue it, work on the pairings a bit, but I hadn't gotten around to it yet, it's something I've been bouncing around different ideas about in my head trying to decide exactly what I wanted to do with it. I really like vampire!harry but most of it has entirely too much slash in it, and I *hate* that.

I had some pretty damn original ideas for that fic though, and I'd love to continue it, but I'm spread pretty thin right now. When I finally get some of it changed I'll be reposting it as Mehetabelo, since almost all of my stuff will eventually get moved there accept extreme AU's and some of Breven's (a friends) stuff.

Work on Hidden. Its got more to it.

Frankly, I would love it if you would just finish 1 (ONE!) fic.

Narcotic Effects is great, but that's the only one you've done completely besides one-shots.

Its why I haven't read Black Kisses (Don't want to be disappointed by the abrupt mid-point stoppage like I was with "Hidden")

That said, its ultimately your call, but I personally am reluctant to get on board with any of your WIP fics as they're always the lingering concern that ride could be shut off right at the peak (See Hidden, which was stopped for almost a YEAR!)

So, do what you want. I probably won't read it anyway.

P.S. Sorry if I come across as harsh, but I was tremendously disappointed with you at first, and I'm kind of wary of you as a dependable writer now.

If you're disappointed, you'll be even more disappointed to know how many stories I have sitting on my computer that are 20k words and never went any further. I have some real difficulties finishing stuff for some reason. Actually hidden will... let's just say it's going to be long. I'm working on it though, since Hidden's my own personal favorite. I think it'll be a million words or more if I ever get around to finishing it.

The problem is that with fics like this one, they're different moods. I wrote this when I was in a pissed off mood, and there's another dark one that I wrote at the same time when I was in a pissed off-depressed mood and I wanted to kill someone. Hidden's never been that sort of fic for me. I'll work on it though, I promise, I'm just trying to get past some problems I have with parts of it in my mind. My old muse doesn't do much in the way of musing anymore, and now it's almost complete randomess in my head with very little actual direction.

Mehetabelo has some great (albeit mostly unfinished) stories, but this isn't one of them.

We let this one in with hopes that it would be continued so we could see more. It's been three years and the author hasn't updated any of his stories.

Futhermore, the story doesn't deserve the library anyway. It has numerous spelling mistakes a terrible plot and premise.

Given the small number of replies and the contradicting reviews, this thread goes back to For Review so we can decide what to do with it.

Is it worth putting back into For Review since this fic has not been updated for over 4 year's?

Has anyone heard out from the author?

Yeah, a few weeks ago. He was not dead then, that's for sure, but I don't know what he intends to do with this story.

And to answer your question -- I'm reluctant to delete a thread with so few replies without giving it a second chance.

I liked the first chapter, but it went down-hill from there. Especially considering his magnificent later work (I still maintain that Changing Faces is the best honks ever, and Eugenics and Narcotic Effects are pretty high up in their respective pairings), this is a sort of sad foray.

I'd say Recycling Bin at best. The author has some nice work, CF in particular, but this one is sort of lacking. Probably why author has not updated it in 4 years.

It's crap. I say can it!

I would explain all the thoughts that were going to go into it, but I'm not that bored. It was just an idea I threw out to see how people liked it. It was never beta'd, or anything like that. Besides, if I were to write something again, it would definitely be some of my other stories. I want to, I just keep getting distracted when I try to write again. Maybe ... someday.

You writing more of Black Kisses would make my year.

It's the story that got me into writing. Thanks for that.

I might be able to do that. No promises, I always liked Hidden more - maybe because there was so much more depth to it. I'll have to rethink BK. I remember where it was going, and that it got way off track. Blah, I'll think on it, see if I can track down some old friends to act as a sounding board.

As for the fact that it got you writing, I'm thrilled, I loved reading several of your stories, they're so damn twisted.
