FF.net does not seem to have been updated in the last ten hours?

The default K-T setting had Power by butterfly1415 as its first story when I visited 10 hours ago.

I come back in, and it is still the first story on my list?

I've cleared my cookies and cache, and even tried to view it from another browser, but it seems to be the same.

Just wanted to know whether it was an issue at my end, or FF.net's end.

 

It's not just you - the site's been glitchy as hell for me since this morning. Can't even access my profile, and I'm not getting updates.

 

Looks to me like its been about 12 hours... Wonder if the admin's are doing anything?

 

Yeah, the site's been weird all day now. However, it's getting better since I can now log in, though I'm still having trouble replying to reviews. I hope it gets fixed by tomorrow.

 

I can log in now - whereas I couldn't yesterday - but it won't let me add any favorites.

EDIT: And now I can't log in. Lovely.

 

I remember this happening a while ago. After a few days of the site remaining the frozen, it just started working like normal. It's a pain in the ass, but there's nothing to do but slog through it.

It's nice, though, to see 30 story updates on the same day because everybody updates as soon as the site comes back on.

 

It might be over... new posts are starting to come in.

 

I think that alerts are still down. something that I have posted haven't even been sent to my e-mail yet.

 

My alerts havent worked for the better part of this year. I think I first noticed that I wasnt getting any emails back in February. I just check my alert list every now and then now.

 

Yes it did happen back when I was overseas for a few days, a story that I have subscribed to has been updated but I received no warning about it, so I am assuming that something is messed up over at FF.Net.

 

I got a chunk of mails today so it seems to be working again.

Dunno if every story is accounted for though since i had considerably fever then i would have expected.

 

Gah, search engine's not working.

 

Somewhat related. Is it just me or is accessing chapters on fanfictionalley.org not working? I keep getting "A database error has occurred. No one has been e-mailed with details. Please do NOT try again in a few minutes. Try in an hour or so. We are working on the database." It's been like that for at least a week.

 

Two weeks that I know of. I can access Author pages, forums, and even chapter pages, but they're fucked for stories.

 

Bah. Story alerts from FFN always die. The search engine always fails. Nothing one can do about it.

 

Appears to be working again.

 

They were having issues again last night, and even right now... I can read but can't log in. There's a message that came up that said they were working on something, but it was dated Aug. 13.
