I'm sure some of you know Pendulum from some of OEM's releases, they're pretty big (albeit supposedly commercialised and *too* mainstream) in DnB these days and their upcoming album Immersion is out this Monday, the 24th (Although if you try really hard, it's been leaked on the net and there are a few high quality versions out there).

Their website, www.pendulum.com has two full songs + 1 minute versions of all the other upcoming songs on it.

Personally this album is a huge step up from In Silico, that felt a lot more like an alternative rock release rather than a DnB one, and while some of the tracks on Immersion feature rather unnecessary vocals, they're still pretty great. Immersion features collaborations with Liam Howlett (of The Prodigy), Steven Wilson (of Porcupine Tree) and In Flames.

The tracks I'm feeling the most so far are The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn) and Witchcraft, but they are all very high quality productions.

    I fucking love it.

The Island Pt. 1 is pretty much boss, but yea this is probably the only album in which I've liked more than 2 songs.

I'm loving Watercolour and Encoder, the others are great too but those just stick out to me.

Right, I just had to bump this (Maybe this could be the Drum n' Bass thread? /fingers crossed) to recommend another artist that has just released a new album, his name is Netsky and he's a Belgian DnB producer that his new album called Netsky was released on May 31st. It's been one of the most awaited albums of DnB in recent memory, and by god it delivered.

Really, you gotta check it out.

Agreed. I wasn't a fan of their previous albums, but Immersion is pretty brilliant.

My favourites have to be Witchcraft and Island Pt. 2. Witchcraft takes a while to drop, but when it does it's amazing and Island Pt. 2 has a pretty fucking dirty beat to it - which I love - but it can get a little grating after a while.

I totally disagree. In Silico and Immersion were utter rubbish compared to the older albums. I'll admit, a couple of songs on this album are acceptable but their attempt to put dub into their music made me sick, personally. These guys have done nothing but go downhill.
