OF ALL TIME

So it's Friday evening and it's the wife's turn to pick what we're watching (and I think there was a small element of punishment for me for selecting Tropic Thunder last time). Anyway, she picks Remember Me, which is a movie Robert Pattinson apparently made between gay sparkly vampire flicks.

At any rate, there's basically two hours of this bone stock, lame ass romantic drama with your standard happy ending and then out of fucking nowhere

The camera pulls out, revealing that this dude is staring out of a window on one of the upper floors of one of the World Trade Center buildings on Sept. 11, 2001.

YEAH!! Surprise 9/11 BITCHES!!

I fucking ROARED.

My wife was somewhat less amused.

 

Oh man...I remember when "tragic ending" usually meant the character got shot, stabbed, or died in a car crash.

Now they have to bring up the deadliest terrorist attack in US history to get the same effect?

Also, you realize you probably put yourself up for more punishment, right?

 

Whatever he gets now, it was totally worth worth it. I would have laughed. Heartily.

Thankfully, the lady in my life would never want to watch it.

 

Anyone who actually wants to see the ending. Bad quality but good enough to see.
