Liked this new chapter. Just didn't like Ash saving Jesse, 'cause you can tell there are going to be problems cause of that. The Nurse Joy explanation was kinda funny as well.

Update was pretty cool. I liked Janine's character, and James was pretty fucking awesome in the last scene (He totally should've gone through with it, though). Good fic is still good.

 

If he had gone through with it, though, saving Jessie couldn't come around and bite Ash in the ass.

 

True. I get the feeling it's going to come around and bite him in the ass too.

 

I have a feeling that even if it does bite him on the ass, the consequences of not saving Jesse may have been an eventual Game Over 15 Xanatos steps down the line.

 

Why doesn't Janine suspect her father is acting erratically due to Huntington's disease? It's genetic, and one of its symptoms is dementia, which would explain Koga's behavior.

 

Maybe the dementia is already affecting her; maybe she's the villian.

I keep forgetting this story exists, then I find the thread again, and am filled with joy. This makes me so happy.

 

I have a feeling that the author doesn't pay enough attention to DLP to name it Oz, but one can dream.

 

Very nice chapter. I wonder if in a possible sequel Koga will be in the Elite Four... seems kind of hard to write it in, but it would be very interesting.

 

I'm on the fence here; While Janine was completely balls-to-the-wall awesome, Koga was quite a sympathetic figure.

The fic addresses the fact that MIsty's parents were killed by a Snorlax
It's kind of a healing thing for Misty, as she's taking in a creature whose species killed her parents.
