Rammstein is coming to Madison Square Garden coming December, and it is only like an hour and a half away from me. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

This is significant because this is their first American concert in over 10 years.

Regardless of DLPs love/hate of the band, I think only one picture can emphasize how I feel about this.

Now I am just curious if any other DLPers will possibly go to this. From what I can tell it seems like many of you are not into this type of music, but that is an argument for a different thread. I will be going as this is the only opportunity to see one of my favorite bands live, and who knows when the next time they will be back in the states, at least locally.

    Awesome song and AMV.

Would love to see them in concert, but one too many 100's of miles away.

Think ticket prices will be legit, or wallet rape?

$50-$80, so pretty much wallet rape.

I'd see them if they decide to come to the west side, always liked Rammstein.

I'd still see them even if I have to pay $50 to be honest. I like them and they're pretty damn close and I probably will end up paying more than that anyway.

Weren't they banned from performing in the US? Something to do with ejaculating dildos and urinating on stage.

I thought so too...it appears the ban has been lifted.

On the subject of attendance, I would go if they were closer. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the country :(

thats funny, because whenever this band is mentioned that is pretty much the only song anyone knows... and to be honest it is not even a top 5 song on that album, let alone their whole set. Just a personal gripe though.

I read awhile back it was a mix of stuff like this and getting carried away with reckless pyrotechnics, resulting in some injuries.
I bet even with the $50-$80 and the majority of the fans here in America not knowing German at all, the gig will be sold out.

Not to mention this AMV, which I have a soft spot for. It introduced me to both Rammstein and Evangelion...

Oh man I can't wait to fork over money to a neo-Nazi affiliated group.

Just skip the middle man and give your money to Storm Front or the BNP. Save yourself the trouble of going to an awesome concert.

Well, that sounds like a load of bullshit, but please, show your evidence.
(Is it just their look and because of the video to 'Stripped'? Maybe some Nazis like them and that makes it guilt by association?)

I for one, am glad that someone has finally spoken the truth.

Beyond that, couldn't care less. Don't like the music, and the whole "pretend fucking band mate on stage with a dildo" thing kind of put me off then.

At the Worcester, Massachusetts show, on the last tour, the vocalist pulled down the keyboardist's pants, pulled out his own fake dildo of sorts, and began to use it to 'ejaculate' some sort of substance onto the keyboardist's bare behind.

They took a lot of flak for it. I don't know if it was the only stop on the tour they did it, but it certainly grabbed a lot of people's attention after the fact.

Anyway, I'd see them if they came to Massachusetts, but wouldn't drive to NY to see them. Emperor and Immortal were the only two bands ever intriguing enough to coerce me into the 3.5 hour drive.

No, it's more like they've been facing accusations in Germany for years of having Neo-Nazi and far-right tendencies. Not so much guilt by association as "hmm, if it walks like a duck, acts like a duck, and talks like a duck, it is probably a duck."

Agreed. World and I have some fucking hot Nazi-themed role play.

    Bullshit.

If accusations always spoke the truth, Obama would be socialist muslim Hitler.

    Highlighted for your convenience.

Yes and before that they played it ridiculously coy giving out classic Freddie Mercury style "what do you think?" answers the the questions.
