I'm currently trying to remember a fic I read some time ago.

What i still know:
I think it starts with Harry in Privet Drive, or it is the 2nd chapter... So he hears something and goes to investigate, and finds DG when she was breaking in, cause she needed money to save her sister and parents from malfoy.

2nd thing, little time later they are in front of the mansion and harry just casts some spells, dumble comes and malfoy and order fight.. in the chaos they go inside...

ill keep it there not to spoiler anything.

im not sure wich pairing it was... or where i read it

I forget the name - maybe 'Downfall' - but it was by this guy, and he deleted it. Good thing too, what with its general shittiness and all that. Oh, and while you get points for actually making a story search thread in the proper forum, everything else about your post is fucking atrocious.

My bad, assumed as it was a contraction it ought to have one.

 

It doesn't look like this story is on ff.net anymore. It was one of the longer hp/dg ones, probably over 40k words at least. it is the first chapter where daphne is caught breaking into Harry's house. She was not expecting him of all people to be living there, etc...
