Watched the episode the other day, Michael McIntyre is hilarious and some of the comedians on his Road Show are equally hilarious. This dude? One of the absolute best :D

This guy is a British comedian. That's all anyone not from Britain needs to know.

You're welcome everyone else. I just saved you 6 minutes of painfully awful humor.

    I'm not from Britain...

Maybe you should get your funny-bone checked?

Miles Jupp is terrible. Dara O'Briain, Dylan Moran, Frankie Boyle, Michael McIntyre and a few dozen more are all infinitely more funny than he is.

Agreed. He's way too upper-middle class for my liking. :p

It's not even that. Hell, McIntyre's fairly upper-middle class himself but he still cracks me up. Jupp's just dull, smug and superior.

He's not actually Upper Middle. He's a comedian. He's playing with the stereotype. And yes, there are many more better comedians. But everyone already knows Michael McIntyre et al.

It was good. I often find myself preferring comedians who talk to the audience rather than shout, although there was a touch of the one-liner style in there! Loved the joke about Irish comedians.

I gathered that, but since that seems to be his preferred style of comedy I judge based on it. Upper class snobbery has always annoyed me and while I got a couple of laughs out of it I mostly just frowned at the screen every time he opened his mouth.
